I struggled with ADHD ever since i was a kid and i genuinely wanted something /anything to keep myself focused for school/work . I am a heavy smoker for a long time. 2 packs a day was normal back then. Nowadays its around 1 pack per day since my work needs me to stay indoors for a long time and going in and out of buildings thru elevators and biometric gates are annoying enough. That said each and every one of my friends or families who says smoking looks cool, or asking me for one stick for example since they wanted to try, i rejected them all and even jokingly threatens them that if they asks for a cigarrete to try one more time i will punch them hahaha. Smoking is bad. Period. And that comes from a heavy smoker. Its not so much about the diseases, nor the wasteful part of it, but the fact that it has became literally part of your life and you almost cannot live with it. So much so that if i were to give you example, if your crush comes to you and said she will be your girlfriend but you need to quit smoking, you will seriously contemplate. And then you went on to date your girlfriend but smokes behind her back knowing that to her you actually had quit, but you can't so you have to lie. And you never realize until at one point you say to yourself "Ahhh so i am addicted to tobacco. I never acknowledged it but my actions says otherwise" and when you have this monologue with yourself, it is too late. The neat part is, you can never be early. You will always be too late. And then if you had the discipline to quit you either successfully gotten rid of it with a lot of hardships or stay with it for the rest of your life. Hence i realize that to at least try to minimize this i will actively says no to anybody who does not smoke but thought of trying, or who has positive impression of smoking. So yeah, its good for you to not went with it. I will say no if you asks me, because for you its not even begun yet. Remember, once it has begun, the next thing you know you are too late. Like me.

It's kinda disappointing that mostly the majority of clips ralated to Raden are about her "smoking habits" or "pekora-like laugh", when she has even more interesting moments talking about Arts and Japanese Culture. I feel bad about that and Tengoku is not helping just focusing with those Two factors to Clip.

How did Raden get rid of smoke smell? I mean I can understand mouthwash or mouthspray or eat some non-sugar mint. I'm talking about fibric-her cloth and hair, that's very hard to, well avoid getting smoke smell. Think about it: AZKi and Irys, how the teams keeps suisei with everyone even the early stage went poorly for her, signing Calli and link her with record company and now the new music focus group ReGLOSS, YAGOO has a thing for seiso singer or something? I mean Calli is definitely the seiso one, part from psyco, suisei is also very seiso character. YAGOO is pushing hard at making seiso idol singer, so it isn't just a meme, he really think like that.

In hololive we have smoker, alcholic, psycopath, gorila, duck, bocci, bug taster, criminal usagi, Elito english, demon who loves naked oh man where did yago find them

If Raden strictly use a kiseru, that might be why she doesn't have strong tobacco smell on her. Of course, there are some that do leave strong smell, but I think most of them either doesn't leave a lingering smell or simply fade quickly.

@@Sac-chan The kiseru I mentioned is a type of tobacco pipe used in Japan in the old days, and it's still used to this day all over the world. She mentioned about it on a conversation about the kind of cigarettes she use, and if you listen to what she's saying, she said something about using a kiseru.

@@Sac-chan I just thought about it and wondered if what you're asking is the "extended mouthpiece" part. A lot of modern pipes have a build that can be easily dismantled for portability or for cleaning reasons. Because of that, some pipes can have the bowl(the part where you put tobacco in) removed and have the whole shaft as an extra filter where you can just put a cigarette instead of the bowl on the front end. Raden didn't seem to mention whether she strictly use cigarettes or have tobacco packs specifically for pipe smoking so it's a bit vague, but considering what she mentioned was a cigarette brand, I think what she did is that she used the kiseru as an extended mouthpiece. Disassembling a cigarette to be used on a pipe is not recommended, as it's usually not meant to be used that way.

I’ll appreciate it if you don’t make all Raden related clips about her smoking habits. I don’t like smoking, and I hope she eventually starts cutting it off for her health, but we don’t need constant reminders of it.

Not a fan of her tbh, being a smoker shouldn't be a quirk or funny, and taking a smoke break when they're supposed to be working and reviewing the merch is really unprofessional, her first stream also angered the staffs for not properly introduced herself and her mama papa, it really feels like she's gonna be more trouble than it's worth Not to mention how health challenging being a Hololive talent is, even healthy members have gotten serious health issue after working in Hololive, like Botan who was warned by her doctor she'll literally die if she doesn't change her life habbit, I doubt a smoker can survive for long, especially when she's supposed to be a "singer"

Bruh, then you clearly don't know sh*t about entertainment & singing world. You'll be surprised as heck when you know that A LOT of Legendary Singers ever known to this Planet Earth, are in fact, smokers. And they are all GODLY singers.

Smoking is certainly not a healthy habit and i hope Raden can eventually quit it some times later. But saying "she's gonna be trouble than its worth" is surely bias. Like her or not is your opinion and I would ask who makes no Pons in the beginning? Hope people don't overlook Raden's passion and talents while just focusing on her being a drinker and smoker.

Laughingly, she is getting a not so good reputation, it's one thing to say "I don't like to bathe" and another to say that you drink alcohol and have to go for breaks because you need to go for a smoke, the truth is that it puts me off seeing her and it's a shame because I think she has one of the most beautiful models I have ever seen, I don't know who told her it was a good idea to say that. I guess Nijisanji fans will like her. But well, that's just my opinion.

on the other hand if she didnt say anything about it and get caught later on due to gen mate slip ups or other circumtances it will do way more damages than just saying it outright from the begininning.

What I find funny about this situation is that people cheer at Lamy's drinking, to the point she even has her own alcohol brand now, but Raden somehow is not ok.
