Radagast - O Fortuna
"O Fortuna" is a medieval Latin Goliardic poem which is part of the collection known as the Carmina Burana, written in the early 13th century. It is a complaint about Fortuna, the inexorable fate that rules both gods and mortals in Roman and Greek mythology.

It's great to hear this well-known melody in a medieval melos. Most people know only Orff's version, which he composed between 1935 and 1936. The eternal human quest for happiness and progress. As long as you are progressing, you feel divine, but the moment your plans fail, who do you blame? Fate, yourself, others? The wheel of fortune (or life) reminds us that nothing lasts forever! Hence the inscription: "Regnabo (I will rule), Regna (I rule), Regnavi (I ruled), Sum sine regno (I am without a kingdom)". The goddess who drives the wheel is blind and represents the elements of chance as luck in life appears and disappears. The man on top rules, the man who descends ruled; the man at the bottom of the wheel is powerless; the man who ascends will one day rule. The Wheel of Fortune clearly reflects the repeated highs and lows of life and suggests that no one is exempt from the rapid changes in fortune, for better or for worse. Do you feel like you've flown over a cliff? Don't worry one day you'll be back up there! Nothing is forever! May the goddess Fortune be kind to you and keep your wheel from moving too fast. I found several transcriptions, some with immanis, others with inmanis, I think that since it belongs to Vulgar Latin the grammar is not so severe. consider that when you find "imm" in Latin it is a contraction of "inm".
