@@brainlock72 Ed refers to Ed's Retro Geek Out while NARC is an acronym for NotAnotherRetroChannel. They're also known as the Attic Invaders.

That's funny, my hometown had a Time Warp comics when I was growing up. They didn't have a TON of toys, but I do remember getting a few things there. I got a complete opened-but-boxed vintage Jabba the Hutt, a complete vintage skiff Lando, and a few other things when I was a kid and just started getting hard into Star Wars (right before POTF2 hit!).

Yoooo I’ve been there! My wife and I had our honeymoon in St. Louis in May 2021 and Timewarp Toys was our last destination before heading home. I remember getting a Transformers Armada repaint of the Beast Wars Transmetals Cheetor. My wife got Funko Pops lol.

Appreciate the shot of the transformers case at the end :)

I like that bow and arrow that the Splinter comes with. It's a fun street way to do that kind of accessory.

Great video!! Oh Man - Ninja Force Lightning and Zartan. I know people hate this era of Joe, but I love it. I saw a complete Eco Warriors Deep Six in the display case. I remember buying that on clearance in Wallgreens for a $1 in 1993 and now it's a $200 figure!

If you planed this in early May, you can check out the Toyman toy show too! Saga Toys is just up the street less than 10 min away from here as well.

gotta laugh at how they tried to market those slime potter figures like an action movie toy line franchise. Those paleo turtles dino's look awesome I wonder if they walk as cool in real life as they do in the commercial ?

That Potter commercial is THE BEST! It's like Mattel had no idea what the movie was about so they made up their own storyline. 🤣🤣

Slime toys were the best!

Pixel Dan probably dodged a bullet buying a loose complete Ninja Lightning at Time Warp Toys compared to a boxed example at Toylanta. There's a HoodedCobraCommander788 video titled 'HCC788 Ninja Lightning Assembly! - Ninja Force- G.I. Joe FAIL!'. It was released on August 21st, 2019 and only 11 minutes long. Bryan Lower mentions how Sanitarium Productions & GI Joburg also broke brand new unused Ninja Lightnings. The self-adjusting, front fork shock suspension always snaps nowadays against the all-terrain, puncture-proof cycle tire.

Not many kids know the secret 100% foolproof fix to getting a cartridge going, plenty of us big kids do though!

There's a time warp toys in lake grove long island. The best!

2:57 I recently got a big bag of Fisher Price Construx in a bed sheet bag like that for $15, I think it works well as it keeps everything together but you can also see everything inside. Just started zip-lock bagging stuff going into bin storage, no more giant pile searches for me.😉 I've definitely scoffed at most of the TMNT wacky variants in the past but that PeleoPatrol line is really starting to appeal to me, really want those Universal Monster Neca figures.😍 7:05 "Jeez son it's like you don't even know me, kids just don't understand."🙄😄Yeah that is true, good time to get some second hand MOTU Origins as some people got their kicks out already with a handful and are bowing out so you can get some nice loose and complete ones. Sparkle toys hmm, never heard of them.🤔 Love to have the SW cantina but I decided to start with the Jabba playset since it's still such an affordable one as they overproduced it by a wide margin heh. Aw memories, I remember the first time I saw Harry Potter & The Slime Chamber, one of J.K.'s most underrated story imo. OMG Gumby, neat. Very nice store and awesome pickups.

Yesterday just before I left my job I picked up TMNT Leonardo with storage shell so I am picking them up one at a time

Just saw this earlier On patreon. thought you had some of the paleo patrol. I got all of them. Don't forget they have a paleo patrol verion of the battle shell too. Also some other vehicles. I have it all.

I would have started the video by going to the old storefront, seeing the empty store, then turning and seeing the blow-up 3po a couple doors down. "Wait! What's this? Could it be...?" LOL I was just in the other week, but recent finances and schedule prevent me from going more often. Allen has a wide variety of stuff in stock. I think the least he has is any Doctor Who merch, but I got the Missy figure from him before they moved. Y'all need to come back and do a more thorough toy hunt in there. I hope you see why you had so many begging you to hit this one up after the Saga tour video. oh, and last year, he got in a HUGE lot of Transformers, mostly Combiners/PotP. It didn't last that long once they had gone thru everything and one guy even came down from WYOMING to buy most of the remaining lot. Not even kidding. One of the guys was showing me a few Shattered Glass TFs they had recently gotten in, but other than G1 and Combiners, I'm pretty much done with TF.

I had no idea there was an old storefront 🤣 And yeah, I definitely want to go back. This was pretty last minute. We were in town for other reasons, and by the time I got there I only had an hour before close. But its fantastic, so I will be back!

@@Pixel-dan Almost forgot: you missed the GI Joe Defiant shuttle complex he had a little while back. It was up on top the Flagg that sits on top of the Transformers case for only a couple weeks. I wish I had taken a picture of it. 🤦‍♂️ I did happen to be in when one of the guys was cleaning up the two Whales they had just gotten in, combining the best of both to make as near a complete craft as he could. You did show that in your video.

I have some of those defenders of the planet figures lying about. Three I think. Looking to trade them. If only you weren't on the other side of the world xD

Love these toy hunting videos (although I'm really jealous of you whenever I watch them :D ), but I'm really missing Masterverse reviews, and we got bunch of releases recently. How can I know what should I buy if you don't make a video? :)))))

@@Pixel-dan I completely understand. Burnout is a serious issue and can make you hate things you love the most if not handled properly. Make sure to take your time and get well before you get back to reviews... We can wait! I got entire Masterverse wave 9 anyway XD P.S. I got your book recently and I absolutely love it! I really hope part 2 with Origins and Masterverse happens in the future. :)

Four decades ago, toys in general were expected to sell in far greater quantities. If literally everybody who purchased a Transformer or Power Ranger as a kid started buying modern toys, prices could decrease drastically.
