Let's see. Trump was living a pretty good life. Nearing retirement, a pretty good life ahead of him. Raising five kids, I worked overnights, while my wife worked the daytime corporate job with benefits. Oh, and I was taking college courses. Anyway, on one of the afternoon talk shows, Donahue or Oprah, the guest was this total asshole talking about his new book, the art of the deal, or whatever. He was being treated like royalty, and I was doing the regular routine while the TV was on in the background. The host asked this asshole if he had political goals, like running for president. I thought, 'This asshole?'. He said, "I don't have any political ambition. But Congress isn't acting with the best interests of the American people in mind. If that continues, I might be forced to." I stood up and turned around. Looked at the TV and, for the first time, really looked at Donald Trump. I've been a fan ever since. He's still an asshole. The one one that America needs.
