That sounds like a good challenge video. Set it up for just enough fuel to not make it the full way around with full throttle and see who can save enough fuel to make it to the finish.

Ahh, the Eco-cup. One of my favorite challenges to do in a racing game. Until we get FailRace to do it, you should check out Viperconcept. He did quite a few of those.

Definitely - low fuel racing! How fast do you dare go? Is it worth making a pit stop? Do you push your luck on the last lap? Looks like a classic hare and tortoise type event.

my Civic was god awful in the wet, really not very pleasant to drive in the slightest. much better in the dry though!

My Z4 was very enjoyable but starting from last is never ideal haha. The 707hp Camaro was a horrific experience around a mildly damp Laguna Seca, but I think I managed it well 👍

honestly I want to see a fuel saving race, fuel the cars up with the one less lap of fuel then needed

impega gaining 22 places in the Falcon to win the last race - wow

I don't understand why Alex didn't dive into the pit as soon as he realized he was on the wrong tires with no fuel and handling badly. He spent the rest of the race going slower and slower, not racing anyone and going to the back anyway. Pit early and at least get some fast laps in and make it a race instead of "falling backward in slow motion" while he constantly talks about gas.

Because pitting early would mean he's completely out of the action, also he's probably not thinking 100% because he's also commentating.

@@agentcrm Falling backward through the order is as good as being completely out of the action because his car wasn't competitive. Every lap he talked about not pitting, didn't pit, and then spent the entire lap talking about fuel and how he was going to run out. If he would've pitted early, he could've chased hot laps at fastest lap time instead of watching everyone pass him and him driving slower and slower around the track.

Wonder if thatll make an interesting challenge? 5 laps 4 laps of feul. Last one driving wins..

I was fearing for Alex in the last race, wondering which would go first: the fuel, the tyres, or the internet connection.

I really enjoy Laguna Seca. The cork screw is so much fun and feels amazing when you get it right and absolutely destroys you when you get it wrong.

this video presents an interesting question... are top A class cars all really equal? I don't think the power on the straight is enough to match a grippy car that carries speed through corners. I feel like the only way would be if the two vehicles were matched on g force capability as opposed to a number that represents the "top" of the class. I bet there's one A class car that's faster than all the rest!

None of the classes are free from having dominant cars. A car being "meta" in Forza is always caused by exceptional PI efficiency when built a certain way, and unfortunately there are always a couple of car/build combinations for each class which are very hard to beat

do you think that a BoP system that emphasizes g force would help bring those meta cars down a bit? I feel like the field would be quite even if all cars can only pull .75 acceleration g and 1 cornering g, for example@@p1eased0nteatme

​@Eric-tg9ss With how Forza works I think that would be impossible to pull off. Acceleration and corner speed can be massively affected by the way you tune the car, so you'd build your car to the desired class, tune it to your liking and then you'd have to go back and rebuild it because the PI will have changed. The existing PI system isn't perfect but it's as good as possible really, they just need to nerf the specific meta cars by giving them higher drag or less downforce or something to that effect.

in Forza there are a number of upgrades which add weight, as well as an option to add ballast to the vehicle (new for this game)

I love this channel and Alex and all that good stuff, but good God Forza Motorsport is so boring to watch, I can no longer make it through an entire video anymore. Please sprinkle in some Horizon every now and then or something. I truly don't mean to be a dick, I love Failrace!

Haven’t played video games in years, but I haven’t missed one of your videos in years either. I have to say this particular game is SOOOO boring to watch. Man bring the older forza games back to the channel. It’s painful to watch a 10 minute race with 3 position changes. It might as well be nascar as far as my interest.
