Some posts below say the piano is too loud. The piano should be loud -- this is Rachmaninoff, for God's sake!

There is a technical problem with sound engeneering. Some bad mic connection that causes unbalance and a humming parasite noise at registrataion. The cello is hardly there...

Would anyone who know french can kindly teach me what's the meaning of "Les Déconcertants"? Google translate told me it is "the disconcerting", but still not clear enough. Why is it the name of a trio group? Is there any deep meaning?

@@luoduwz9789 I appreciate @Michel Balcaen's response. I would add that, as often happens in French, there may be also a "jeu de mots" (wordplay) involved. Meaning: the word "concert" is contained in "Déconcertants," which implies that they produce "un-concerts" ... "breaking the mould" indeed! P.S. Little English lesson: You want to say, "Thanks a lot for your help!" "Guide," in English, is either a verb ("Can you guide me to the train station?") or the name of a profession (e.g., a tour guide).

@@LauraMorland :D Thanks a lot for your reply! I'm very sorry about my poor english. It looks strange, cuz I seldom use it in my daily life. Would it be proper if I use "Thanks a lot for your guidance" in this context? ;-)

@@LauraMorland Nice! Can I say that, "Dé" in French is mostly equal to "Un" in English, so "Déconcertants" is equal to "Un-concert" which indicate a "break-the-convention" group and performance?

c'est uniquement la bande son du piano ? le desequilibre est prononcé et on entend un ronflement enorme dans les basses ! Dommage, la prestation est de qualité pourtant !

It sure is Rackmaninov, indeed, great pianist himself. But that's not a reason here to have Ajay Ranganathan, pianist himself to be and show his own technik and dexterity : he is much too much present if not quite loud, and seems to forget that this is a trio where the cords have totally their own place.

Шуберт - гений. Играйте Шуберта, там много чего можно сыграть. Вы уже играли и у вас получалось. Зачем играть это бесхребетное создание Рахманинова? Это безусловно шаг назад. Не ваш уровень.
