One day in the near future it would be awesome if you had a big enough area so you and Rachel could have a small sanctuary for neglected critters. You both have such a passion for critters you could really make it work . With a little guidance from you Rachel could do alot of the caring for the critters so you could take care of your business.. i of course have no idea what your sweet young lady has plans for in the future but she is such a caring person with her pets I just wonder if her future will involve animals. She is a great kiddo (as is Noah and Jordan). and i wish only the best for you all. 💕🐢🐢🐢🐢

I am most sure the Lion habitat has the lions giraffes and any other animals best interest at heart that’s in their care in this video I have to say it is hard viewing these beautiful creatures in cages that is not their normal environment to roam Gods earth It makes me think how it would be for us humans to be locked up for our protection for survival for our species to continue ?

We don’t get to see Rachel much (if ever). It is so evident that she is such a sweet, gentle soul. It is very evident by how calm and unafraid while feeding the giraffe. Thank you both for sharing your family time with us.

I’m beyond excited, actually thrilled, to see Rachel. I have been concerned about her reluctance to interact with those that love her. I hope it is ok with you, Danni, that I’ve said prayers for Rachel, Noah, too. Their horizons could be expanded, don’t you agree, Danni? I think you spending the day with Rachel in honor of her birthday was a tremendous gift. Is it private or will you share with your KZread “family” what material gifts 🎁 did Rachel receive? The day out was an excellent gift but I’m so interested in what “things” a sixteen year old young woman like Rachel might want for birthday presents. The giant tortoise was quite a sight. Did they have information on the origin and age? Oh, and it’s gender. It’s was amazing to see? All the animals in the sanctuary were sad to see in a way. They should be free to roam freely in their natural habitats. But it’s not the case. This is the safest alternative. I know you had a great day, too, Danni. ❤

Rachel got an electric guitar! That was on her wishlist :-)

Sad to see them in cages & not living out their lives as nature intended. "They go somewhere for genetics". I wonder what that involves. As far as Rachel; it's nice to see her sweet gentle face, but I am also glad she keeps herself private. The music was nice, but hard to hear the instructor with it playing.

These lions were all born in captivity and have never known the wild. Most of them would be long gone as lions in the wild don't live to the age these guys have. Going to other zoos with breeding programs that work to keep species alive is what that means.

This was a lot of fun to watch. I could see how uncomfortable Rachel was. I am glad to see her having such an amazing experience. I wish the music had not been so loud. I could not hear the person talking very easily.

Thank youuuuuuuu!!! That was brilliant! The guy sleeping at the end is out of it lol. Reminds me of my teenage nephew, same hair! How special for Rachel to paint with Ozzy and be able to give him treats. The woman giving the demo did a thoroughly excellent job. Ozzy having to know what was going on! So typical of animals and a trait I get a kick out of. My lop bunny Bolt sniffs my bag everytime I come home, can't help himself. The tortoises were big. Do you know how old they were? They are Sulcata Tortoises and probably in the 20 - 30 year range - I want one!

Do the animals have a habitat area or are they in those cages it looks so like an old fashioned zoo, it can't be just that cage area,can it.I can't see you and Rachel patronising an animal enclosure like that

Edna, keep in mind these animals are rescued out of a situation where they had no place to go. This facility does amazing work meeting their needs and educating the public so they fall in love with these soon to be endangered animals!

I don’t know, Danni. This video made me sad with all the chain link fences and lack of stimulation for many of the animals. If you ever find yourself in Omaha Nebraska, you will have to visit the Henry Doorley zoo and aquarium. It’s number 1 in the nation and if animals have to be kept, it’s the best option

Those look like sad, awful habitats . No rocks, grass, trees. 😢

Very hard to upkeep grass and trees and in Africa it's mostly bare plains.. these lions are so well taken care of let's remember this place only exists because man let them down!

They all looked very well taken care of!! Tortoises were awesome!! If ya have an extra minute..you probably only have a half a minute...lol but check out the tortoise whisper..he has such awesome tortoises and feed them very well!! They have room to roam..awesome to watch!! Thxs
