These tennis-ball-sized potato dumplings are the Björn Borg of the dumpling world. They are old-school champions, and can be boiled or fried, filled or unfilled (and differ in other ways, depending on which regional variety you make!

These are lovely I must try them. By the way a tip for onions it really works cut in half and peel the onion wash it dry it and put it in container in the fridge for atleast 3 hours. I generally have a few in there always. Then when you cut them they don’t sting at all. No tears in the kitchen. 😀

Absolutely beautiful I could watch this all day and night
If frying these, would you take the process thru boiling, dry them off, then fry? It seems like maybe deep frying or shallow frying them wouldn't cook them all the way thru since they are so large.
Mom used to do dumplings when she cooked her Croatian dishes...so homey..

What kind of flour did you use to make them gluten free? How about cooking the dumplings in chicken stock for more flavor?
