This reminded me of my female Maltese. I went with my dad to get her put down on Jun 7, 2016. My dad was comforting her while I was in the corner crying. She was 10 1/2 and she had heart failure, we gave her medication to help her, but it was barely working. We’ve had her for 11 years, she was like my little sister and she was apart of who I am. My favorite thing about her was that she could sense whenever I was sad and she would comfort me, and keep me company.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your dog was extremely special, and the bond that the two of you shared was just as eqaul. Dogs are incredible that way. As I'm reading this ,my dog is sitting beside me sleeping.. I have tears in my eyes from how touching your comment was. She also knows whenever I'm sad. Dealing with severe depression hasn't been easy, putting it mildly, but she always comforts me , ALWAYS. I know one day she'll be in heaven , and as much as I dread that, I also take comfort and joy in God even letting us be together. Many people can't say this same thing. To have experienced the unconditioanl love of a dog is precious and I wholeheartedly believe that not even death can separate the truth of that....

Now that's a future artist in the process of being a popstar
