They both look so good in this scene! I love how Chandler looks with the glasses (and red is so his color!) I agree with most people: Chandler and Rachel deserved more scenes together! They work so so well!

Can I be honest? I don't know what Phoebe Saw in David, excluding the fact that the writers had him leave for years and come back just as her and Mike were about to move in, it felt out of left field.

David was one of the purest characters of the show. He was divided between work and love. Both ended badly. He deserved better. They really did him dirty.

Did you not watch the episode? It was a specific small store that made them. A store in Chicago, from where their neighbor had it sent. They even have a conversation about Monica making this same dessert, but not even comparing to this one. It wasn't just a matter of "buy another one", when not even this one was originally for them in the first place. Ordering one from that same place, plus shipping and everything, was probably too expensive for them. Not to mention that if they had one sent, they risked hurting Monica's feelings when they ate a store bought dessert that she's perfectly capable of making for them.

Chandelt and Rachel should have had more scenes together, although Rachel was critical of Chandler many times.

It's out of character for Chandler, especially, to be this unwise, particularly when he or Rachel could just order their own freaking cheesecake, or go to a nearby Manhattan bakery and get one just as good. But this show was never particularly known for logic or character continuity.

I am sorry, I never liked this subplots used as a padding of the main plot. Most of them were absurd situations without sense (like the storie about Phoebe taking care of the rats of her house), and more regular (and meaningless) at the last seasons...

There's no such thing as a main plot and subplots. The whole point of Friends is to have on average 3 plots of equal importance involving different characters in every episode. That's how the creators of the show decided the show would be and it's a big reason of why the show works so well.
