    Was this PAF Pro or Tone Zone??? Anyone, anyone? Oh yes, we love Paul's technique but for me, his songs are where it's at. Racer X and beyond....nice aggressive rhythm is what impressed me the most.

    yjm plays angry and change his picking pace at a whim all the time. gilbert is like a machine. He rarely changes the pace at which he alternate picking but his picking is dead on. Good to learn how to play songs from both guys if you want to get your alternate picking down.

    I can see it, the heavy orchestrated guitars with the lower pitched operatic vocals due give off a similar feel. I don't think that's a bad thing.
