also, keep in mind… -some autograph sessions like hendrick and trackhouse merch haulers require you to buy something in order to get admission into the event. -rain can also effect events going on at the track like these driver appearances.

im going to dover in 2 weeks, i went there back in 2018 for some test laps and i even met ross chastain, but i dont remember much about it. i cant wait. im going to go to talladega or daytona for my high school graduation / birthday im also your 900th sub : )

I was at the truck race at Daytona this year, and let’s just say I got unlucky with who I had to sit by. It was a guy who was VERY drunk and was high off of edibles. It was honestly kind of funny but annoying at times too

Everything about Pheonix race way is more than outstanding except for getting out of the parking lot. They have parking attendants getting you in but at the end your on your own. There is only one road to/from the raceway so it is congested. First time we were went there was a park&ride. 10$ in and out by bus. That really made things easier. That went away so haven't been back. Too bad ... !!!

So I will add some advice. For your first race, don’t do the pre race as you will more than likely miss the green flag at most tracks with most seats. So not all tracks have expensive food. Martinsville is known for its $1 hotdogs. They are very good, but the lines are very long…

Could i just buy a cheap ticket and walk to a better seat if empty?

dont know if you will see this, but what is the policy with bringing outside food and drinks, coolers, or like backpacks. first race for me right after the 4th. really wxcited

I'm just seeing this now for some reason. I am sure you already found out, but coolers & outside food & drinks are usually allowed, but it depends on the track. I would visit the website of the track and see their policies. At Darlington, it is pretty relaxed except for umbrellas. They will check your bag without caring, like pre-9/11 security and wave you through.

I recommend getting it in as early as you can. Treat it like going to the airport for a flight. The advertised start time does not care about you and there's a lot of stuff you should do before that. 90 min is the minimum I'd advise.
