Race Suit Sizing Guide | Motorcycle Superstore

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A one-piece race suit is the most technically advanced piece of motorcycle gear you can purchase. The amount of materials, safety products and special fitment issues involved in a leather suit is amazing. Ordering the proper suit is difficult, even more so when shopping online where you can’t physically try it on. Motorcycle Superstore understands that it is extra frustrating, and with that has created this guide to help ensure you have all the information needed to confidently find your perfect suit from our large selection. For written details about the sizing tips, accommodating different body types, armor options and balancing safety with comfort, check out our written guide, which also has this video embedded at the top for easy reference - www.motorcycle-superstore.com/....

Great video and found myself in this predicament as well. What I ended up doing was going to a local shop and tried a bunch. Found my size and fit. I searched the internet in the dressing room and my dealer was 10% higher than all internet prices plus the tax. I showed the dealer and they took 20% and I walked out with exactly what I needed. If you are going to order online go try suits at motorcycle and write down what you want and wait until Christmas, New Year and spring specials where you can get better deals online than you can at the shop but if it's 20-50 bucks difference then stick with your local motorcycle shop. This is a great video on fitment. Thank you!

Glad to know that the sit portion is baggy on purpose. I was starting to think that my suite is too big and that's pretty strange since my size normally is between 52 and 54 and this time I got a 54 (EU size) and all the rest fits more or less regularly...

Hey guysWhere should the knee pad/sliders be positioned while standing and trying on the suits?I'm wearing S&S Kevlar pants with foam knee pad inserts and they curve around the knee cap perfectly What about for these track suits? Should they ride a little lower than where the thigh knee cap meet? Thanks in advance

this always confuses me, im 6ft and 15 stone/210lbs which everything ive read would be around a size 50 with alpinestars but when i tried them on a 44 was a little tight but almost a perfect fit, maybe slightly long on the leg... its impossible to pick a correct suit without going and trying them on

  • @motorcyclesuperstore

The next best thing to trying them on is to take all of your measurements and compare them to the size charts (arm length, chest, waist, inseam, etc...)

Ducati Drew That was my assumption going in as well, but when we laid out the final sizing for all of our testers, we consistently saw one size smaller. I can't explain it, but the numbers don't lie. - jc

If your race suit is too tight with Armor, Take a nice hot shower in your gear then go for a ride, that should stretch it out enough!
