Jan Frodeno is the perfect triathlon commentator! Please put the man on the payroll!

I just like Jan's roast on Sodaro. Brutal lolz. I mean each age group athlete would rather walk than quitting. I ran the full 18km but I just witness so much lolz.

The banter and roasts, each pro is tough enough to handle. I didn’t think it was brutal at all! Most age group athletes just want to PR or simply finish. A small handful want to podium their age group. Most not remotely close to the level of pros! So for all the pros that DNF any T100, I’m sure there’s a lot of thought to risk management, weighing the (+)pros of finishing for ‘spirit’ or ‘hubris’, or the (-)cons of finishing with injury that impedes training for 2 weeks or more. These pros are not a stranger to the pain cave for SURE, and DNFing is not just a whimsical quitting. Sometimes it’s intelligent, especially with the dedicated schedule of the T100 series.

I wish there was no drafting rule on the bike. Races would be more fun to watch. There’s no draft rules in the swim or run. Why the bike

Because in the bike you can save up to 30% of fatigue. That means more strategical and less phisical conpetitions. Moreover, with a crono bike, draft could be dangerous.

I understand that but watching a t100 bike leg compared to tour de france leg doesn’t even compare. So much more exciting with tight competition

In the races with drafting on the bike they basically turn into a running race. Sometimes everyone rides slowly in the group because they all know there is no point trying to breakaway. Even if your breakaway is successful and you are first off the bike you will burn so much energy that you will be quickly caught on the run.

Fix your graphics, some of the lettering and numbers are very hard (nearing impossible) to read.
