Perez deserved a 10 second penalty. Because the second time he pushed out Leclerc, it was definitely on purpose. It wasn't a sharp corner, he just couldn't shake off Leclerc other than pushing him out. And what's funny is that Leclerc has a slower car... but a lot more talent.

FIA needs to keep its nose out of these battles if no accident is occasioned. This was fair, hard racing. Years ago in Club Racing, if One went into a corner even slightly in front you held your racing line and if the other guy didn't back off, he went wide. It's not rocket science but some folk do like to over-complicate things with petty rules.

I love how Segio Perez played very aggressive. It didn't go well with Lando Norris, but I just enjoyed it. Perez was playing so well at the beginning defending his position with Hamilton and later with Leclerc but he got multiple penalties. If it wasn't for that, he would have won a pole.

In a car that's not the best one on the track no less. Amazing drive by Norris. The next years are going to be awesome to watch with Max, Norris and Russell fighting (provided Russell does go to Merc soon).

@Jotarototo The last couple years I would've included Leclerc for sure but in current times I feel like he is not keeping up with the other three. How much of that is down to Ferrari doing Ferrari things I don't know.

The most competitive racing we have seen in a LONG long time. It was absolutely beautiful. Verstappen in P1 and Lando on podium, not mention Bottas. All of it. Im so happy, thank you.

It says how much dominating race you had when you’re shown only in the beginning and end of the race👏🏻

Would have loved to see a bit more of Alonso's and Russell's battle here, because that was pure class. It also showed all of Alonso's class, positioning his car in different places to get an advantage, like getting on the throttle earlier. That was a joy to watch.

All of Alonso's class? He was lapped by the winner and finished in 10th place! I think he needs a lot more class. I think you might be trapped in a fan blindness, where he can do no wrong, or you have actually believed the publicity.

Norris did an absolutely brilliant job. Also my jaw dropped when Mercedes actually allowed Valtteri to overtake Lewis instead of ruining his race making him block Norris. Oh how the turntables

I thought it was pathetic that Bottas was quicker but had to wait behind Hamilton. Yes, it is a possible tactic, and I understand they want Hamilton to take the title. But i see no incentive for Bottas to improve because he may never be the winning party in a fight with Hamilton. There is no way he can race to his full capabilities.

Everyone having a laugh at Lewis misfortunes. No one is calling out the .... Illegal Mugen Honda engine is Max Verstappen's car or the illegal McLaren Ilmor engine in Lando Norris' is car.

I watched this live, they didn't play the team order for Botas to pass Hamilton on lap 52. Missing a bit of context.

Makes sense.Kvyat might have infected Kimi when he crashed into him in 2019 Singapore.

I've seen Max's car fail him *so many* times over the course of his career when leading a race. It's great that Honda RBR have finally ironed out those reliability problems they have had in the past. Max has dealt with a *lot* of heartbreak/frustration because of that. Every win against RBR this year will be well-earned.

The time penalties I can understand. But penalty points on your licence seems a bit over the top. Especially Checo, 4 points just like that.

@@kukuc96 I highly doubt the second ones a penalty. Thats basically the line Perez had, have no idea what Leclerc was trying to do. Leclerc literally tried to overtake Perez on the only exit line Perez had thus got out the track and moaned like the brat he is.

@@bupsmertozkal nah bro leclerc has his nose from his car next to perez what means perez needs to give the space to leclerc. Not push him of the track. The rules say if after the breaking zone the driver on the outside gets a part of a his car next to the driver of the inside, the driver on the inside needs to give the other space to work with. 5sec was fair enought for once but for a secone time he could have got a more harcher penalty.

Formula One is a cyclical sport. Every team seems to do well for a while before the next top team comes along. It has happened since I started watching in the 1980's. so why do people get so surprised when it happens again? Remember Ayrton Senna? Remember when nobody could beat him in a McLaren? Remember Michael Schumacher? When nobody could beat him in a Ferrari? So Hamilton/Mercedes have dominated for years, it's time to change again.

Mazepin got a lot higher penalty than Checo, and honestly, Checo deserved a much harsher penalty.

Great actual racing.

It's clear Ricciardo has the race pace, he just need to feel more confortable for quali. And Lando is an absolute beast. I'm loving McLaren this season

In Checos defence Leclerc sometimes gets over aggressive and a clear example is last race. He just got payback for what he did to Pierre last week
