Kyosho always my favorit, they brought highest craftmanship and build quality parts. Especially in Javelin and Optima family. I do only have Tamiya but because at that time i hardly to find Kyosho Shop in Bangkok, only Tamiya Shop. Now i am back to my own country hopefully could have time to build a Kyosho RC.

I got the WLToys 124019 and was suprised how fast it was a little pocket rocket for sure. Paid £95 with 3 batteries when it was discounted slighlty. Amazing performance for a car under £100

I like the BGRAT. The fact that you remove a lot of variables (It's you driving your cars on your course) means the comparisons and observations are meaningful. More of these please! And please do the Hotshot again with the spicier motor!

Loved the video, very impressed with the smooth cuts from one pov to another round the track. This gave me some great ideas for a track for the kids! (Just for the kids, honest :D)

great fun. I would drive the cars on the playhouse Gavin, will give you a bit of elevation lol. You could remove the slide and have a tunnel section like Monaco.

Cool concept, lots of fun! I was totally biased towards the Top Force throughout the video, so it was a pleasure to see it crush its competition, sad to see it break. The Javelin looked so good, too!

Great video, Gavin! I've been running my WLToys 12423 on my own backyard track (part grass, part dirt, with 3 jumps) and it's been a blast. No surprise your "019" was so fast. Too bad we aren't neighbors; a backyard shootout would be pretty fun! Thank you for sharing.

Love your videos Gavin! Great idea to run the cars in your garden (cool to see the vintage aces in action) but you should run them with the same set up (at least the same motor). I am sure the XLS would go faster than the Top Force. Keep up with the great work. RC Kicks is defo one of my favourite RC Channels!

Loving the track videos! Very impressive stuff from the Top Force (maybe even quicker once the steering and transmission are sorted?). I'm interested to know what KV or Turns the motor is rated for? The WLToys looks the perfect size for the size and twistyness of the track, looking forward to see how the new 104001 will compare. It would be nice to see a more detailed league table somewhere so we can see the type and rating of the motor (maybe in the description but minus the laptimes of the latest video - just the car and motor specs). I feel like the XLS needs another shot once all the mods are done and ideally with a fast brushless motor to take advantage of the tougher transmission :)

LOL that thing needs open fields, it’s a bloody animal.

instead of calling it a fake top force, you could call it a Resto Mod, thats where people take an old muscle car and put more modern upgrades to it

The rear differential on my df03 is driving me crazy. I melted the center out of mg1, replaced it but it still seems to be slipping. I'm running brushless 3s setup. The front seems to be getting more power. Is there a upgrade for the rear differential? Any input would be helpful thank you

Try the other Kyoshos with brushless?

You're runnign the cars pretty tall. I'd lower them a lot more for track times.

The stance of that top force standing on you desk seems way too high? The breakage could be related to it?

I guarantee that k-1 will smoke the top force with same tires. I still make a-mains with my k-1aero. Not quite as fast as the latest and greatest but still a pleasure to drive. Also I am a tamiya fanboy and have much love for the top force so im not biased.

Just call it the "TOP-Fake evo".
