Amazingly, Slawek almost won the EDR (+0.095s) and a day later he managed to win the E-EDR and by a crushing 23s margin. Considering the fitness of this competition, this is a really big achievement. Let's go Slawek!

Finally some great commentary on the racing, so different and passionate when coming from someone who talks with real race experience

Can you make the last stage live, you can get recorded sections on the stages before, a timing update but then a live of the last stage, just like DH. That way you're bringing Enduro the main MTB style to the forefront. It's not a hard concept to get right, and it's not been done before.

And this concept is not new, as it was done in WRC - the last stage in the rally was called Power Stage, was shorter (to make it easier to televise) and there were additional championship points awarded.

Excellent editing and nice race recap! But please, separate enduro and e-enduro and make two full-blown race coverages. It would make both enduro and e-enduro fans happy.

Well done WB Discovery. This is what we've been waiting for. It tells the story of the event, introduces rider stories and gives a good idea of what the course and conditions were like. Josh is an absolute asset, great to see him bring us the enduro. It's reminiscent of the rounds at derby and maydena with the big crowds. Love to see it!

Thanks, but I've already watched a heap of coverage on every riders KZread channel. None the less, it is nice to get an overall picture of the event.

Much better recap than Finale, but you can do more UCI, give the people what they want! As others have said, give us the last stage live or at least in full post race. I agree with so many of the comments here. For the other commentors, I contacted the UCI about live coverage and their reply did have some valid points. Due to course length and in many places on the course there is no way to receive a live feed. This makes sense as it's not as contained as DH or XC. But to reiterate, the last stage could be live or shown post race in full.

Thanks for the coverage and the work gone into making this vid. I LUV Enduro and I can't wait to see the day where Enduro gets the same coverage treatment as UCI DH and XC. Racing through trail systems similar to what the "average Joe" has access to on the daily, is awe inspiring to watch and more relatable than DH, (despite DH and its coverage is amazing to watch). Thank you WHOOP!

Hardline or any DH race is one track. Enduro is several tracks, with different groups on any one track at a time. It’s not economically viable given enduro, as a spectator sport, isn’t that popular.

@@krislinton1901 yeah but there are multiple tracks. DH races have 1 track. They would have to employ 5x the cameramen & production to support it. I’m with you, it would cool but it’s not really viable.

The lack of full coverage it what makes them seem similar. Enduro generally has way more pedaling on each stage.

The reality is, no one other than passionate e-bike advocates watches it. It feels like if F1 had a B race that allowed ABS & TC. The best drivers manage just fine without it.

Watched the whole race day live on Eurosport..what utter rubbish. Poor quality track coverage, the direction was shocking and the hosts talking about irrelevant topics over the top of ALL the podiums was amateur at best…better coverage from other KZread channels than the official

You need to separate categories in different videos, men, women, e bikes ... Not all mashed up in one video. But more importantly I can't find the appeal in enduro, where are the climbs? They're not even timed right? What's the point? At the end it's just a decaffeinated version of downhill racing...

Enduro is the closest to what people actually do when mountain biking.. Grind to the top of the hill, then bomb down. It's also the format with the most varied riding, with rider doing a 40-50km twice over the weekend (once for the reco and once for the race). XC guys are just doing the same loop over and over. DH guys the same track over and over, with lots of down time (waiting for other categories to train/quali, or waiting for your turn to race). Unfortunately what makes it great makes it also the hardest format to capture..
