Mum randomly left the last episode on after watching emmerdale and im so thankful I watched it and also the reunion. What a bunch of not only contestants, but lovely humans who all come from somewhere different (not just London) and have beautiful stories to tell and it made me so emotional to see what the race has done for them mentally, emotionally and strategically. I only saw the last episode where alf and his mate won but watching the reunion straight after helped give me insight to what the previous episodes were like. It touched me especially because at the old age of 32.5 i feel a bit lost due to certain things that have happened and especially happened recently, and its like God wanted me to see this because it truly does inspire you, not just the physicalities of the show but also hearing all the perspectives of each person in each couple. Alfie hasnt even got a mum and im here with mine feeling hopeless, look how many countries he went to after winning (he took it a bit far, even he would say🤭), hes not letting anything or anyone hold him back and i need to learn from that. Life is one crazy thing that hits any one of us differently for the better or the worst but specific to your own self, no2 ppl tend to have the same issues. Anyways enough rambling, this should be a good watch, and if you read this far, i pray God blesses you, takes at least 50% of your struggles away - if you have any at all in this moment and i hope you all have a good rest of your week. Zam from north London.

I got quite emotional when Betty revealed the fact that she wasn't really able to be a mother. She seems such a lovely girl and it just seemed such a shame. Her and her brother James also seems a very decent young man. They obviously have a very tight bond, I will always remember James trying to comfort Betty after she realised that she had left her little black bag with the passports on the bus. And likewise Betty treating James to a nice meal after he had been robbed of his half of the money.

Such a fantastic group of people, and compared with earlier series I think the shows creators have got the tone and pace spot on now

I love RATW...I am in the USA and I watch The Amazing Race (USA, Canada & Australia) and I like RATW format better, it is a smaller group, you get to know them and seeing them interact with locals and navigate without traditional means is just heartwarming.🌏

I really didn’t like the mum though - she cheated, moaned and was rude.

Betty, you are so strong and beautiful hearted. Upsetting is an understatement to what happened to you. You don’t deserve it, the relationship between you and James shows he always has your back.

The BBC should give Alfie & Owen another run at the race, just like The Amazing Race brings back former contestants and winners to compete again.

I can understand why Owen needs to take some timeout from Alfie now and then because he does get pretty intense. But the boys were deserved winners, and Alfie's Mum would have been so proud of him. Plus, the fact that Eugenie & Isobel cheated by stealing Steve & Viv's taxi was underhand and dishonest - so from that respect I felt A&O were the more deserving.

I agree i didn’t like how they cheated and lied a couple of times. Not good. Also they were not white lies just lies. White lies spare peoples feelings. It’s a game but I hope lying and cheating doesn’t become more of a part of future series. No one else lied like that. I prefer a more positive and honest vibe. Also that mum moaned and was rude to her daughter a lot.
