Awesome last lap. There are many race series around the world that would KILL to have a finish like that to do some advertisement with....

These really are race cars ordinary folks like me can imagine racing. I'm not a huge fan of single-model series, but this is the exception!

What a finish!

I was blown away by how awesome this race was. This is the first time I watched an mx-5 race and am now a huge fan.

I have never watched a Mazda MX-5 race in my life, nor do I watch many road races being a fan of NASCAR traditionally, but this final lap of this race was some of the most entertaining racing I have seen in quite a while! I am going to try and catch one of these races soon!

Mazda is the best car company of all time, has given us 50 years of SOLID racing from the first RX3 to the first rx7, to the first Miata , now to the mx5. no other company can claim that, they had their decade, not their half-century

Fantastic racing. The MX5 run here in the UK too. They are a fantastic race car. With the mods for racing these cars are quicker than many very expensive exotics. This series however asks for a lot of money to race. US$150,000. A full season of racing in the UK would be circa $15,000 (plus you supply car). No prize money however.

You gotta love a 3-way drag race for the checkers, great race from all of them!

I live for MX5 racing in SCCA regionals. This is a higher level. A bigger stage, but still pure auto racing. What a finish.

I drive a 2014 MX 5. It came with La man's style paddle shifters. 0 to 100 in ten seconds. I love tearing up windy roads with it. the highway patrol will not take fun as an excuse.

The 2 losing drivers must have been saying afterwards, "only if I had done that, I'd have edged out the other 2."

I'd look for something different, Autism Speaks is not kindly looked upon by the autistic community, they're borderline a hate group that view autism as a disease that needs to be cured. They've done a lot of damage. Think PETA, but for autistic people. They had input on the movie "Music", just look up the responses to that if you aren't familiar.

Reece, back in the day there was a “spec Miata cup” which was all NA’s. That eventually turned into MX-5 cup. But on the regional (and extremely competitive) side of things, there is “Spec Miata” which is a combo of NA’s and NB’s. This is where I and a lot of my competitions came from. The races usually have 30-75 cars in any which weekend. Search “Spec Miata Runoffs” for videos on the top spec Miata race in the country 👍🏼

150 k for a season lol i can do 6 months of drifting here in New Zealand with my 25det C33 ,5 meets lots of half day the practice laps 25 k mainly tires,gas ,transport to tracks ,have spare block and box ,did it for 2 years ,never got a podium ,but lots of seat time in battles shredding tires,now i got a NB MX5 rs jdm,6 spd 1800,link ,lsd and road reg costy me 1 set of tires and a few filters and oil changes and i still got my licence,used to get pulled over by the cops a;l the time in the C33.and it turned into a money pit drifting.
