Listening for the first time in Brazil! Tks algorithm
Listened to this album so many times as a child and it was completely lost on me, it was more of a background soundscape. Now 30 years later I came across it on KZread and I must say, THIS is a damn masterpiece!
This is what I call real artistry, greetings from Greece
masterful work. all hail the algorithm

Sonny and Rabih are divine talented musicians, to have them got together here is a blessing. And Ornette Never Sleeps is pure genius 🌀
"Storyteller" is my favorite, not in real life, but on this album 😉 Rabih Abou-Khalil successfully moves between jazz & traditional North African sounds. Saxophonist Sonny Fortune provides the blues bite 🎷bassist Glen Moore provides the rhythmic connection 🎸 and percussionists Ramesh Shotham & Nabil Khaiat provide the African spice. 🪘🪇🥁

I like how you just show me things I would've never found otherwise or even turned to by myself
This is doing this to my nervous system that I thought only The Mars Volta could do
