My last dose of ACV was on 5 july and dog licked my wound on 4 oct like if we calculate day wise its like 89-90 day When then i be having ARV again . M on the edge of compleltion of 3 mnths

I have taken 4 dose of vaccine on day 0,3,7,14…the vaccine was freeze dried vero cell rabies vaccine and it was written with the vaccine that it should not be shaken..but the nurse did not know it..she shaked the vial thoroughl... Now i am worried about it..so i want to take the 4 dose of vaccine again…the 4 dose vaccine shedule was complated 10 days earlier..sir what should i do now??

Haha... no one forgets.. it’s just simple concept: Rabies is 100% fatal, hence any dog bite is potential rabies animal bite... in developing countries mostly due to lack of proper documentation and other resource constraints... ARV is given to all irrespective of dog immunization status In developed countries, if proper documents for dog is available... it’s based on case discretion.. but re-exp guidelines are usually followed... still would depend on country to country health guidelines

Sir...humne plate me raw rice rakkhe to ek monkey aaya aur usne thode rice khaye aur thode neeche giraa diye aur phir humne wo rice ikattha kiye lekin jis haath se maine rice ikattha kiye Uss haath me chot (wound) lagi hui thi... Kya aisa ho sakta hai ki monkey ka saliva rice par lag gaya ho aur wo saliva rice ikattha karte samay mere wound par laga gaya ho... Kya mujhe rabies ho sakta hai... Sir reply please....
