Rabbits are pretty impressive...we have a TON of them in our field, and when I take the dogs to walk most of the time, like you said, they shoot for the brush that 's impenetrable. But, on a occasion, my dogs and I have walked right up on top of one without even seeing it, until suddenly it sprang and ran away. They flatten themselves out so well in the kind of tall grass and blend in really well.
