How did my rabbit get fleas?
Like dogs and cats, pet rabbits can easily fall victim to fleas. Rabbit fur provides an ideal environment for fleas to hide, lay their eggs, and multiply.
Your rabbit may have contracted fleas from a variety of sources, including other pets in the home. Fleas may be transferred directly from animal to animal if your rabbit comes into contact with other pets, including other infected rabbits. These insects may also be transferred from infected pets to carpets, rugs, bedding, or other fabrics inside the home. Once there, fleas can survive for up to 100 days on your soft surfaces before infesting animals that come into contact with those surfaces. Pet rabbits may also become infected if allowed to play or graze outdoors in untreated grass where these bugs reside. Once infected, your rabbit must be treated in order to rid your pet of these pests, as fleas will not go away on their own.

I appreciate this video! I realised my bunny has caught flees around 20 minutes ago, I feel so bad for her but this doesn’t surprise me because I let her run around outside when she’s feeling bored :(

YES!! MY RABBIT HAS FLEAS!!!
My baby rabbit came to me With a couple of fleas there is one left and I just can’t pick it out I’m gonna get some stuff from the vet I think when I go next week
He is free range. Theres a tick visible underneath his eye. Can't catch him. I need a good plan.
My mom noticed them first and it needs to be treated
My bunny has fleas too,I took her to the vet about two weeks ago but this morning I saw one of her coat. I’m not sure if I need to take her back , don’t know what do to.

Although I just did a test with a captured flea, dusting the container with DE, and it was still alive the next day. Either it takes a while to work or it's not as effective as I was hoping. Dribbled a bit of Talstar P in there and when it contacted it, took it down right away. That's only good for perimeter treatment though -

I'll give the apple cider vinegar spray treatment a try and see if that will help-

I have 11 rabbits and my mom doesn’t want to pay for the vet for all of them :(
