Hello everyone! This week, I’ll show you how to make Thistle Rabbit, a little bunny doll. She has a button-jointed teddy bear body; I got the distressed vintage bear look with soft pastels. I’ll also be using a bubble tea straw to turn out her doll limbs easily! Her doll clothes are a ruffled dress with lace trim, a linen coat with pocket, knitted arm warmers, and a fox satchel cross-body bag.
The patterns for Thistle Rabbit's doll body, clothes, and bag are from Simone Gooding (simonegoodingdesign.com.au). I modified the dress pattern to make an open-back dress and a ruffled skirt. The method of making the top+lining as well as attaching the bodice can be found on @stitchbystitchwithlily8901 channel. I learned so many doll clothes techniques from her!
I also tried pastel shading for the first time, which I learned from watching Lisa's tutorials on @payitforward9442 . Lisa used the pastels on wool felt in her video, but I tried the technique on some polar fleece and it worked great!

Is this this little rabbit you talked about? So cute! My favourite part is … the tail! Ahaha, so fluffy, love how it peeks out from the clothes xD And the whole mood and aesthetic of the video is just nice and relaxing, like a story book with a forest setting and the relaxing day-to-day lives of the animal characters

I used some fleece material! It was on sale at the fabric store so I have a lot of it 😅
