WOW, WOW, WOW! That was the best shiur I’ve ever heard on Parshat Noach, by far. I was, quite frankly, sick of the comparison of Noach to Avraham, and Noach always lost. I despaired that there wasn’t anything else to learn, but Rav Breitowitz opened the whole thing like a bud blossoming into a flower with all this wonderful commentary. Thank you SO MUCH. I feel so much better for having heard these beautiful words. 🌿🌹🌿

@@CarolAnnD1 I will find the source. Also, it says in Legends of the Jews that Noah was the one who taught Abraham to stand up for people. So the thing that they say made Abraham greater than Noah… Noah taught it to Abraham!! He said “don’t make the same mistake I did Abraham”. I’ll go get the source for you. I have hundreds of videos on Noahide specific topics and stuff no one ever covers- like the Noahides in the Torah.

I am embarrassed my self to say that I have tears in my eyes to watch the Rabbi’s style of teachings (I can sense the deeper care and passionate in him to help us get the help thru divine knowledge of Torah. When I just listen without watching him, there are so much funny words that the rabbi always carefully used makes the entire siurim become so addictive. B”H. and thank you Rabbi and all the crews in Yiboneh who help make this videos posible for the entire world to see the light of hope especially in this darkest time today on earth. תודה רבה.

It's always Noach being compared to Avraham. Just like Moshe was the right leader for his generation, Yehoshua was the bset match for the generation going into Eretz Yisroel. Noach was obviously not a the extrovert that Abraham was. Introverts many times have a deep, insightful way of seeing other people. Is it not possible that Noach saw that his generation was not interested or capable of teshuva. After all, as the rain started and increased, did anyone call out to G-D and admit their evil ways? No. But, Avraham, the extrovert reach out to everyone and begged for evil cities to be saved on the possibility that 10 good people could hold enough merit to prevent destruction. And what happened to Avraham's followers, no where does it say that they continued in Abraham's teachings. So was Avraham any more or less greater than Noach? How about they each were the leaders of their generation in reflection of the their generation.

Beautiful class: But; Avraham could have saved Sadom many years before the people had totally fallen in the evil/ corruptive ways of “HAMAS” (חמס the exact word of the ancient Torah). After Avraham had saved the bad kings; they requested of Avraham to “ please stay and be our king”. Had Avraham stayed to “ reform the world,to follow in the holy ways of G-D ( 7 Mitzvot of Noach), Avraham could have brought the whole world to redemption. The commentators say that Avraham himself (with the Helping hand of G-D Almighty), and Eliezere ( son of Nimrod),had won the “World war. As “king” he could have influenced the Whole world to walk in the Path of Hashem. As king, Avraham could have taught the Whole world the 7 Mitzvot of Noach :the 7 Laws for a Honest, just world, full of Truth and Justice , goodness and kindness. A G-D world. Noach couldn’t fight the world which was already corrupt. Much more to be said………

Ezekiel 14 disproves our rabbis assertion that Abraham was superior in character . God tells us 3 times that Noah, Daniel and Job are the most righteous of all ! Abraham’s purpose was to be the antidote to tyranny ( of which he was frightened ) but he was fearful of pharaoh and Avimelech and sinned against God and Sara. Ramban agrees. Abraham was relatively young and familiar with the flood’s destruction and asked HaShem to be merciful to the people of Sdom and Amorah. Noah was six times older and knew the proclivities and bestial appetites of the people were so entrenched in their souls, that God denied mercy. Our rabbis lack a Tanach perspective and create mythologies about our patriarchs. Yitzhak did not receive a good example of faith in HaShem because his father was a bad example because his consistency in faith was not steady. Yitzhak committed the same sin as his father and endangered his wife because he himself had no fear of God - forget about his reply to Avimelech saying that he didn’t think there was fear of God in this place ! If they can make this work, someone is going to get a Noble Peace Prize medal: Make the UN agree to this solution: Give Palestinians land; perhaps in the southern Midian desert like El Tor. Far away from Israel. So, no more rockets into Israel. Empty out Gaza and give the land to Israel. More over, move the Palestinians in the West Bank to this new Palestinian land - El Tor in Egypt and call it the New Palestine.

You got carried away by numbers and angry emotions!! What is that good for??? To promote your own man-made-justice??? This is "man made machloykas" (manipulations??), The Almighty God did not grade his people by numbers, The Almighty God gave people specific missions to follow! The Almighty God loves and cares about all the people! However, people have the gift of free will and do as they please without listening to the Almighty God's main message about Universal Love!

It appears that you're interpreting the excitement of presenting a new idea as anger. Additionally, it's important to approach the topic of what God does or doesn't do with humility, especially when it contradicts the interpretations of learned rabbis like Rashi and the Levush.

Please don't mix all the people into your conflict of your religious people. It is sad what is happening again. Pray to the Almighty God for you enemies, pray so the Almighty God can deliver them from evil. As Jesus Christ was teaching that most difficult prayer, prayer for your enemies. After all at the end of the day, many are their own worst enemies; many cannot look into a mirror and smile with warm heart. If you want peace in the world, world needs more forgiveness, world needs more of that Jesus Christ prayer, world needs more faithful Judeo-Christians in the Almighty Creator, not more religious people without faith! World needs more people to be united under the faith in One Almighty God, not under one religion!!! [ let that sync ] ... What is it good for if you know all the scriptures, and understand all the wisdom, but your heart is in constant trouble???
