27 years ago, when my father passed I was given the Artscroll Kaddish commentary. Since then I probably added a 100 Artscroll Sefarim, but now that my wife recently became a Nifteress I opened it again, and was struck by the depth and range of sources. In our present era, you can put a prominent name, in the is case R Scherman into KZread and get a feel for who they are. I particularly enjoyed hearing him reminisce about R Gordon z’tl. His son was a prominent Rav out here in Los Angeles that I had the merit to learn by. He often spoke about his father and the Newark of that era. Thank you Rabbi Scherman and Rabbi Zlotowitz for your help in providing tools that made me a little less of an ignoramus.

What a pleasure to listen and soak up wisdom from the previous generation. I love the Rabbi's description of not being able to translate Sfas Emes..I believe the "problem" people have with Art Scroll is the problem they will have with automobiles that drive themselves....it is just a bit too automatic.

Does your book Stone Edition Tanach - Green Pocket Size Edition Hebrew and English have elohim, and the 32 virgins, and mohammud in it? I had an old bible that had elohim writtten, I showed it to a christian and I cant trust those christians, I let them borrow my old bible and some how they cant find it, becuase it destroys thier world view. Lord thy god, Lord God , God , were different names. and i am tired of chrisitans pretending they know bibical hebrew. this is what one christian bible thumper told me, that the letter W in hebrew is vv , two v's. I said what??????? i thought there qwas no W in hebrew. shuldnt this 4 letter word god be YHVH?? or HVHY? what ever is the correct direction to read , left to right or right to left, i think its right to left. another rabbi on youtube said and funny i cant remember whcih youtube channel but he said the christians changed Ismeal to Issac as the sacrafice, is that true? i thin my old bible would prove that but theses weirdo christians lost my bible

The name of hashem, is a fusion of the Hebrew words hayah hoveh yihyeh, which means past present and future, as far as the letter vav as far as I know is pronounced with a "v" but again it all depends on what vowel the letter takes
