Rabbi Discovers Prophet Muhammad in Bible

Rabbi Mort shares his discovery of potential references to Prophet Muhammad in the Bible. He believes Mount Paran in Deuteronomy 33:2 could symbolize Muhammad, as Paran could mean "prominent" or "exalted," referencing Muhammad's status as a prophet. Moreover, the Rabbi argues that the name Muhammad appears in A Song of Solomon 5:16 in its plain form. Additionally, Isaiah 60:7 is seen as a prophecy of a holy man or prophet, who glorifies the house of God in Mecca, Egypt, and eliminates darkness, bringing light to the Gentiles. Lastly, the Rabbi references the Book of Jasher, where Ishmael, Nab-Kadar, and Abil are mentioned, suggesting connections to Muhammad and his lineage.

Reference to Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (pbut) in that order:1 Deuteronomy 33:1 "And this [is] the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand [went] a fiery law for them." This is a chronological succession of prophets which is narrated through reference to location. This prophesy is reported at the end of Deuteronomy in association with the story of the death of prophet Moses (pbuh). It was a blessing and glad tidings bestowed by prophet Moses upon his followers just prior to his death. It was designed to give his followers hope upon the occasion of the passing of their prophet that God is not abandoning them, rather, the best is yet to come, and He shall continue to bless mankind with His guidance and His light. Sinai is a reference to Moses (pbuh). It is an obvious reference to mount Sinai where Moses (pbuh) received his revelation (Exodus 19:20). Seir is a reference to Jesus (pbuh). It is usually associated with the chain of mountains West and South of the Dead Sea extending through Jerusalem, and Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus (pbuh). It was later extended to include the mountains on the East side as well (Dictionary of the Bible, John L. McKenzie, S.J., p. 783) However, Seir is also identified with the Northern border of the tribal territory of Judah and usually with Saris near Kesla (Chesalon), barely nine miles West of these two cities (The Eerdmans Bible Dictionary, by Allen C. Myers, pp. 921 922, and The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, V4, p 262) Prophet Moses (pbuh) never in his lifetime entered Palestine, and thus, this could not be a reference to him. Paran is a reference to the city of Makkah in the Arabian Peninsula. `The wilderness of Paran is where Abraham's wife Hagar and his eldest son Ishmael settled (Genesis 21:21) in the Arabian desert. Specifically, Makkah. Makkah is, of course, the capital of Islam in Arabia and the birthplace of Mohammed (pbuh) Mount Paran is the chain of mountains in that same region which the Arabs call the Sarawat mountains". Mohammed (pbuh) first became the prophet of Islam in the cave of "Hira'a" located in these mountains. Jesus never in his life traveled to Paran. Mohammed, however, was born there. He died there. And it was the capital of the Islamic religion in that day and this. All of the prophets of the Bible including Jesus and Moses pbuh) all came from either Palestine or from Babylon. No prophet of the Bible ever came from the Arabian city of Paran (Makkah). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the only prophet of God who has ever fulfilled this prophesy. We also read in verse 33:2 that a fiery law shall issue forth from the right hand of the prophet from Paran. The reference to "right" hand is a reference to strength, justice, andguidance. In Islam, all clean and decent actions are performed with the "right" hand (eating, shaking hands, etc.), while all dirty or undesirable actions are done with the left hand (washing one's private parts, picking up garbage, etc.). In the Qur'an, the good are described on the Day of Judgment as receiving their book of deeds in their "right" hands, while the wicked receive theirs in their "left" hand. This can be seen for example in Al-Haqqah (69):13-37. This general attitude is conveyed in the Bible too. We read: Biblical phrases referring to the right hand reflect a widespread human cultural attitude, namely the recognition that for most people the right hand is both stronger and more adept than the left, and is the hand with which many tasks are instinctively undertaken ... Eccl. 10:2 links 'a wise man's heart' with his right hand, and 'a fool's heart with his left. When the Son of Man separates the sheep from the goats at the Last Judgment, it is to the damned 'on the left hand' that he says, 'Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire' (Matt. 25:41) ...The right hand is often mentioned as a symbol of strength, both for human beings and anthropomophically for God (e.g. Job 40:14; Isa. 48:13)" A Dictionary of Biblical Tradition In English Literature, David Lyle Jeffrey, p. 442. This fiery law that shall issue from the right hand of the prophet from Paran will be a new law for the children of Israel and not the same one they had been practicing in the time of Moses (pbuh) and later. This is held out by simple logic; if I already own something, then I can not say that my neighbor shall bring "for me" this same "something' which I already own. In such a case he would have "brought" nothing, and it would have been more logical to say he would "confirm" the preexistent law. No prophet of the Bible ever in his lifetime either came from Paran or preached the replacement of the law of Moses (pbuh) Even Jesus (pbuh) came to confirm and reinforce the law of Moses (Matthew 5:17-19), as explained in detail in chapter one. Muhammad (pbuh) is the only prophet of God who fulfilled both of these requirements. However, if we look closely, we will find that the prophesy contains one more requirement. It tells us that this prophet from Paran who will bring a fiery new law shall come with 10,000 saints. Once again, two years before the death of prophet Muhammad (pbuh), in the year 630 CE, he 10,000 of his followers b their final and decisive victory against the pagans of Makkah. This was one of the most bloodless victories of all history. The Muslims took control of Makkah, the capital of paganistic Arabia, virtually without a single casualty. Upon entering Makkah victorious, Muhammad did not take it's inhabitants as prisoners. Even though these people had been torturing and killing his companions and himself for so many years, he commanded that they not be tortured, nor should retribution be sought against them. Rather, he set them all free. Most of them entered into Islam. Once again, we find that prophet Moses ( pbuh) was appointed seventy very close and devout followers (Exodus 24:1-9, Numbers 11:16-25). Jesus (pbuh) was appointed eleven very close and devout followers (if we were to exclude Judas), as seen in Matthew 10:1-5, Mark 3:14-19, etc. Prophet Muhammad, once again, was the only one to fulfill this requirement. Mr. Kais Al-Kalbi asks the question: "When this verse Deut 33:2 was translated from Hebrew to English, the phrase '10,000 saints' was kept the same. But when this verse was translated from Hebrew to Arabic, the phrase '10,000 saints' was intentionally changed to 'holy valley', why?" Kais Al-Kalbi, Prophet Muhammad, the last messenger in the Bible, third edition, pp. 231-232 The wording also bears out this chronological succession of prophets. Came: arrival of the sun in the morning. Rose up: like the light of dawn. Shined forth: Mid-day sun which lights up the Earth from East to West. Islam has indeed come to shine all over the earth as the mid-day sun. It is estimated to have 1.2 billion adherents throughout the globe, and it is the fastest growing religion in the world today. "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." The Qur'an, Al Maidah 5:3

@@MekkaMehamedi I understand your beliefs, but I must express my concerns based on factual evidence and scripture. Jesus taught, ‘You will recognize them by their fruits’ (Matthew 7:16), urging us to discern truth through the outcomes of teachings and actions. The New Testament, written by eyewitnesses or contemporaries of Jesus, provides a historically reliable account of His life and teachings, emphasizing love, forgiveness, and salvation. Furthermore, Paul warns against deviating from Jesus’ teachings, ‘But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed’ (Galatians 1:8). This highlights the critical importance of adhering to the original gospel. Addressing your points: 1. Name and Practice: The name ‘Jesus’ comes from Greek translations of His Hebrew name ‘Yeshua,’ reflecting the linguistic journey through history. ‘Isa’ has no clear connection to His Hebrew name ‘Yeshua’. While practices like prostration in prayer are common in many religions, including Islam, the essence of Christian faith is rooted in a personal relationship with God through Jesus, not ritualistic practices. 2. Followers and Truth: The validity of a religion isn’t determined by the number of its followers but by the truth of its teachings. Christianity’s historical foundation, based on eyewitness accounts and early manuscripts, provides compelling evidence for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. 3. Ethical Teachings: Comparatively, concerns about the ethical implications of Muhammad’s actions, as mentioned in Islamic traditions, particularly regarding treatment of women, contrast with Jesus’ revolutionary respect and dignity towards all individuals. My point is not to argue but to express concern that beliefs contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ might lead to missing the path to eternal salvation, as He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It’s out of genuine care and concern that I share this, hoping for thoughtful reflection on where true salvation is found.

And I think these also point out the right way: Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” Foretelling of another future prophet after Jesus, pbuh: John 16:12-14 I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear [to hear] them now. But when that One has come, He will guide you in all truth. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father] He will speak, and he will tell you what is yet to come. Jesus prayed like any other prophet before him: Then Abram fell on his face [in worship] Genesis 17:3 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces [before the Lord in prayer] Numbers 20:6 Then Joshua fell with his face toward the earth and bowed down, and said to him, “What does my lord have to say to his servant? Joshua 5:14 And after going a little farther, He(Jesus) fell face down and prayed Matthew 26:39 Then, Who is the God: John 4:24 God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The Way: John 4:1-2 Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. By this you know and recognize the Spirit(synonym, there for a prophet) of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a man] is from God [God is its source]; An-Nisa 4:171 People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary, a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers and do not speak of a ‘Trinity’- stop [this], that is better for you- God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust. *Islam is the only non-Christian faith which claims and speaks to the whole world that Jesus is the Christ! Who made us say that: Muhammad (pbuh).* John 16:14 For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father]... Let us come to common terms: Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” Ali ‘Imran 3:64 Say, (O Prophet) “O People of the Book! Let us come to common terms: that we will worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, nor take one another as lords instead of Allah.” But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted ˹to Allah alone˺.”

Revelation 20:10 "And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the FALSE PROPHET were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." 2 Peter 2:1-3 "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep." Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?"

There's also a prophecy about Muhammad in the bible, Isaiah 42, The prophecy mentions his lineage (from the settlements of Kedar) and where he will live (Sela, which is a mountain next to the prophet's city, which at the time was called Yathrib), what he will do (be a man of war, lay waste to the deserts, guide the people, bring a new Torah), and who he will fight and defeat (the pagan idolaters). Not to mention that the Jews already knew that, and when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) arrived at Yathrib the Jews were already there awaiting his arrival, and some accepted his prophethood and became Muslim, while others rejected him and eventually betrayed their agreement with him. And if you don't believe that it was about him, then find a single historical figure that it even remotely fits other than him. And if you're saying he still hasn't come, you're wrong because there haven't been any idolaters in Arabia for over a thousand years because islam strictly prohibits any form of idolatry, so by that logic the prophecy will never come to happen.

Quotation by rabbi Elhanan Miller: “No Jew would believe this guy as a Jew or rabbi.”. And Arabic native speaking people have discovered ‘rabbi’ Mort as an Iranian speaking Muslim. So said that islamic apologists disguise themselves to fool their own people. ‘Rabbi’ Mort also doesn't know Hebrew. He claimed that 'muhammadin' is found in Songs of Solomon. But he is wong, מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is pronounced as ‘ma-kha-madim’. Just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. The other deception made by 'rabbi' Mort is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again he is wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is an masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). Again check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to the name of ‘Muhammad’.

I agree with his other points but 'Song of Solomon Chapter 5 Verse 16' has nothing to do with Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. The whole chapter is basically a love song between Solomon and his bride, a romantic chapter in nature as well. I don't know why the Rabbi mentions the word Muhammad (Praiseworthy) in this context when the word in the Orthodox Jewish Bible is machamaddim (altogether desirable), especially in a romantic verse that is not talking about Prophet hood or proclaiming a future Prophet. I don't see the connection. That initially led me to believe Prophet Muhammad's Prophecy, Peace Be Upon Him, was mentioned in this verse, upon further inspection it doesn't seem to be. It's not a big deal, but the point is do your research in terms of checking sources on claims, I don't like the idea of trying to lead people to Islam using convoluted wording and terminology. Islam and Quran are the Truth. There are a great number of examples, including scientific and predictive miracles. If a sincere person reads the Quran he doesn't need you to convince him/her of the Truth. People turn away for all sorts of reasons. The Prophets uncle in his death bed, in his Nephew's presence, would not make a Shahada out of pride of the opinion/judgement of the pagan Arabs that were there(Allah knows better if that's true)....... He gets the lightest punishment out of anyone in hell, 2 coals, 1 under each foot, his brain will boil. Don't take a harsher punishment than him by spreading misinformation, because we will be questioned. May Allah forgive us all, guide us and keep us steadfast from this world.

@@Gernsbacker The Quran has been carbon dated to the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, every letter, every dot, identical. A Book that can substantiate it's claims, free of contradictions, regardless of what contradictions some claim, none hold weight. The earlier Holy Books, Psalms, Talmud and Injil, have major contradictions, errors, omissions due to fabrications by admission of Christian and Jewish scholars. No Abrahamic Scholar worth his salt would defend the idea these scriptures are preserved. There are literally numerous (want to say hundreds of) clear cut examples of total contradictions, how can anyone substantiate that? Did God make a mistake? The Quran is the measuring stick. If the Quran confirms something from the OT, then it's true. If it rejects something, then it's the fabrication of men. If the Quran is false, and Muhammad is a liar. How did he predict in (Surah Rum 30:1-4) that the Romans would be defeated, and after their defeat they will overcome and become victorious? How did he know that in 10-12 years from his claim, the Romans would be defeated in the "lowest land"? Byzantine and Persian Empires went to war and Byzantines suffered defeat when Damascus and Jerusalem both fell to the Persian Empire. This area is near Dead sea which is the lowest point on earth. At over 400 meters below sea level, it is the land area with the lowest elevation. There are so many examples I could share.

What about Isahia 53: Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. 4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b] 9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. 11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e]; by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g] and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h] because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

These claims are mental gymnastics that have been debunked many times. Song of Solomon is about the love of Solomon and his beloved. Machmadim means (altogether lovely)...she is saying her lover(Solomon ) is altogether lovely! Isaiah 60 is a chapter where God is saying ...he will bring back all the exiled jews, rebuild Zion(Israel) and make it great again and that all kind of people will flock there ...kedar means the Bedouin people.

This guy 'rabbi' Mort is exposed as a deceiver, he is no rabbi. He is pretending to be a rabbi but he is no. He also don't know Hebrew. First of all in the video 'rabbi' Mort quoted Deuteronomy 33:2 which says: “He said: “The LORD came from Sinai and dawned over them from Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran. He came with myriads of holy ones from the south, from his mountain slopes.” Deuteronomy 33:2 First of all nowhere it says ‘a prophet will come from...’ So this cannot refer to Muhammad. But it say that the Lord יְהוָ֞ה Yah-weh came. Is Muhammad the Lord יְהוָ֞ה Yah-weh? No of course not, therefore Deuteronomy 33:2 does not speak about Muhammad. And did Muhammad came in the time of Moses? No he did not. The other mistake 'rabbi' Mort made is about Paran. Because Paran and Seir are near Egypt in the Sinai Peninsula. Just read Gen. 14:6; Num. 10:12; 12:16 - 13:3 and Deut. 1:1, in southern Palestine in the north-eastern Sinai. So Paran is far far away from Mecca, hundreds of miles away. Clearly Deuteronomy 33 has nothing to do with Muhammmad. 'Rabbi' Mort claimed that 'muhammadin' is found in Songs of Solomon. But again he is wong, מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is pronounced as ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. The other deception made by 'rabbi' Mort is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is an masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). And because it is not a name it cannot refer to Muhammad. Also 'rabbi' Mort quotes a few verses from Isaiah 60. But let’s read more, the context, verse 1 to 12: 1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. 4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip. 5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. 6 Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the Lord. 7 All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple. 8“Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests? 9 Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, a bringing your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor. 10 “Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion. 11 Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nation’s their kings led in triumphal procession. 12 For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined." The same deception 'rabbi' Mort in the video made is about the coming of a prophet, meanwhile nowhere in these verses it says that a prophet is coming. Clearly this passage is talking about about a city. Note the language: "Foreigners will rebuild your walls..." (vs.10) and "Your gates will always stand open..." (vs.11). In fact, it is speaking of Jerusalem: "...and will call you the city of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel." (vs.14). The next deception which 'rabbi' Mort made is that he claimed that Kedar is Mecca. Again he is wrong because Kedar was located in Northwestern Arabia. There are several mentions of Kedar in the Bible but not one of them is mentioned as Mecca. But to be consistent to his logic: Tarshish is also a city in Spain, is the prophet also coming from Spain? And what about Nebaioth? The context of these verses is a beautiful promise to the Jews who came back from exile among the Babylonians. And in verse 9 it is abundantly clear that this is the nation of Israel: the Holy One of Israel. So this has nothing to do with the arrival of a non-Israelite person from a distant nation over a thousand years later. So also no Muhammad in Isaiah 60. Clearly this person is no rabbi, just a deceiver.

And in Arabic Muhammed is also a title which means likeable and praiseworthy which later became the most popular name in history and in Qur'an Prophet Muhammed (SAW) is also called Ahmen. And there is no fixed way to write Muhammad in English as some people write Mohamed which doesn't make it a different name and in hebrew "h" is pronounced as "kh". So your whole argument can get destroyed like a house of cards.

Nowhere in the bible does it say that Christ is the LAST prophet. This itself is proof that there will be another prophet. Bible speaks a LOT about false prophets. That makes sense. Because by deleting false prophets, only then can you reach the true prophet. Just think: if ALL prophets are Christ were false, why would the bible say to judge them by their fruits? (Matthew 7:16) It would have simply said that all prophets after Christ are false, but it doesnt, meaning that there will be a true prophet after Christ peace be upon him. There are many other verses that make it ABUNDANTLY clear that there will be a prophet. "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1) Again, there would be no need to test prophets if ALL were false. Meaning there WILL BE a true prophet. And to get to him, you will have to eliminate the false prophets. There are far too many other proofs. PAGANgelists should open their eyes and stop denying their own bible.

How can Muhammad be a prophet if according to the Torah God makes the alliance with Isaac and not with Ishmael? If he is the last of the prophets, why have the Ishmaelites not made or written any prophecy or contact with God in 2600 years? (There are 2600 years between the deaths of Abraham and Muhammad). Why is the Quran full of errors if it is dictated by God? Why are there no archaeological finds either in Mecca or Medina? Why is the black stone an old pagan cult that was also put on coins? (google Baetylus coins) Islam is clearly a deception.

Muhammad is mentioned in a few places in the Bible. Here are a few... Matthew 24:11 "And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray." Revelation 20:10 "And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the FALSE PROPHET were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." 2 Peter 2:1-3 "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
