राज़-ए-उल्फत छुपा के देख लिया दिल बहुत कुछ जला के देख लिया (राज़-ए-उल्फत = प्रेम का रहस्य) और क्या देखने को बाक़ी है आप से दिल लगा के देख लिया वो मेरे होके भी मेरे ना हुए उनको अपना बना के देख लिया आज उनकी नज़र में कुछ हमने सबकी नज़रें बचा के देख लिया -फैज़ अहमद फैज़ इसी ग़ज़ल के कुछ और अश'आर: आस उस दर से टूटती ही नहीं जा के देखा, न जा के देख लिया 'फैज़', तक़मील-ए-ग़म भी हो ना सकी इश्क़ को आज़मा के देख लिया (तक़मील = पूरा होने की क्रिया या भाव, पूर्णता), (तक़मील-ए-ग़म = दुःख की पूर्णता/ पूर्ती)

Coincidentally this evening ,I was watching same show you are referring Sa re ga ma and you sang this your father’s composition , I watched that program in US. Where we have limited media coverage for our culture . Since internet has exploded I have easy access to watch everything by the way if I remember I saw that in 1997or in 1998on cable channel. Ever since then I have been following your music . God bless you more.

us aawaaz ko chooker dekha hai maine ,un lafzon ko mahsoos bhi kiya hai ,woh lafz jo taswwur banker machalte hai mere dil mein ,woh lafz jo baaten bhi karte hain mujhse ,woh lafz jo leker jaate hain mujhe un galiyon mein jaha kuch ankahi baaten chupi hain,....jaane kya baat hai us aawaz mein jo mere hi zahan ko padhker pighalti hui mere dil mein uter jaati hai, woh AAPKI AWAAZ hai,.woh aawaaz .jo khayalon ko zinda karti hain ,woh awaaz jo dil ki baaton ko zuban deti hai.

bahut hi umda. be had asardaar. awaz la jawab janab. gazal to faiz sahib ki hai hi ba kamaal. magar aap ne jis andaz se Peish ki hai > saher angeiz !!! jadoo !!! Thanks a lot.
