Raaw Jibb V2 in the test: downhill with only 130 mm suspension travel!?

The Raaw Jibb V2 is the shortest-travel representative in the manageable Raaw universe. While the Yalla! is primarily aimed at downhillers and the Madonna is now a real enduro authority, the new Jibb, with its 130 mm suspension travel on the aluminum rear, aims to shine as a playful trail bike. But don't be misled by the short suspension travel, because, as is typical for Raaw, the Jibb V2 is said to have plenty of downhill potential. The new Jibb has now adopted the so-called toolbox system from its two big siblings, where you can adjust all kinds of parameters to your own preferences thanks to the interchangeable shock mount. The new Raaw Jibb V2 is now available as a frame set for €2,790 or as a rolling chassis.

Ich poste mal in den Kommentaren über das Gewicht, aber ich muss sagen, dass mein Canyon Stoic fast genauso viel wiegen soll und das als Hardtail 😂
Ich frage mich bei der Kinematik, ob hier die Funktion nicht dem Aussehen geopfert wurde. Die sehr gerade Linie der Kettenstrebe und der sehr nahe Drehpunkt an der Radachse scheint die Vorteile des Horst-Linkes zu minimieren. Ist dann quasi ein abgestützter Eingelenker, was nicht unbedingt schlecht ist, aber nicht alle funktionalen Vorteile mitnimmt

Ziele sind immer ein Kompromiss. Raaw typisch ist es kinematisch gut gemacht. Cheers
