Here is a classic Baithak Gana/Chutney selection originally done by Ramdew Chaitoe. We all know the ever popular 'Raat Ke Sapna' (The night's dream), however this version with vocals by Sandeep Badloe and Dholak by Soerin Ramkhelawan of SRMusic is quite special. This performance was done for the Baitak Ghana's in concert with the Metropole Orchestra Recorded May 9 2013 at The Hague Worldforum on the occasian of 140 years Hindustani migration. It was a unique blend of our Indo-Caribbean song style accompanied by western classical instruments. It was a unique innovation in charting the way forward for Bhaitak Gana/Chutey in the 21st century. Below is the English translation of the song:
