Raas is a traditional folk dance originating from the Indian state of Gujarat and popularly performed during the festival of Navaratri. Raas is a high energetic dance including sticks, more traditionally called dandiyas, which are spun and used to express the movements of the dancers. The dance not only showcases colorful traditional attire but also features lively music, including instruments like the dhol.
