Thank you for this share. A beautiful rendition by the artist. Interesting choice of vilambit bandish. Generally, artists from the Gwalior Gharana sing 'yaar kataar maaru prem ki'. 'Preetam Saiyan' is more popular among Jaipur Atrauli singers. Will be happy to be corrected.

What a gem of a rendition. Every concert of hers that I attended had me asking for more. Sublime music, devoid any gimmicks and undue impressionism, and yet leaving the listener spellbound. An exceptional voice that moves hearts. Thanks for the upload. 🙏

This raag was made by Khansaheb Ustad Alladiya Khan and it is a Jaipur Atrouli gharana raag. It is sung by Vidushi Kesarbai, Pt. Mallikarjun Mansur and other JA singers.

Very well sung this JA jod-raag.

She learnt from Kishori Amonkar for a brief while. Her influence is clearly seen in her singing.
