R46/211 (A) Trains at Beach 67th Street

Hello! Here is footage I took of NYC Subway (A) trains at Beach 67 Street, Arverne by The Sea. This stop was once surrounded by empty grassland just 2 decades ago, but today, it is surrounded by lots of residential housing, coastal apartments, chain restaraunts, and (in the summer) beachgoers! It also recently received 2 elevators to make it an ADA accessible station.

The R46 and R211 look very similar with the bullet sign. Good video showing both of them.

I think R46 is a Longer Train than R211

@@jenniferaguilar5502 yes they are because it’s a 75 footer compared to the R211 that is a 60 footer.

R46s are longer. That's entirely why they've never ran on the BMT Eastern division which has sharp curves (J/Z, L and M trains)@@jenniferaguilar5502
