@@dammo251 glad it helped. I have not tried AmberElec on the R36s. Do you like it better than ArkOS? See any difference in performance? Also yea I like to know to keep the full times because sometimes we think our console is hung up or taking too long and get worried. ✌️

Thanks for the video. All up and running. On my install I got some red text at the start telling me what was happening (Verifying, unpacking etc) instead of just a flashing cursor. Maybe a later Ark version?

You’re welcome my friend I’m always glad to help. My thumb stick covers are Joycon sized as these devices share the same sticks as the Nintendo Switch. I really like how the Zelda ones turned out on the R36s

Is there any other steps to downloading and playing stardew valley, iv download it from portmaster and it loads then kicks me straight out to previous screen like its failing to boot

I've had mine for a month. I messed up something. Takes 45 seconds to boot up everything besides the games are in Spain language. Don't know how to get it bk to English. They're down to $35 today for Chinese new year. Wish it had Gran turismo. Got the same color. Where did you get your WiFi dongle.? I tried to put a 64gb card in there but it would accept Enjoying the beats. I'm subscribing!

You can always reinstall ArkOS. If you need I can make a video showing how to do it. As far as the language goes follow these steps. 1 turn on R36s 2 hit start button 3 hit up on dpad 4 times 4 hit “A” button 5 hit down on dpad 5 times 6 scroll left or right till on get to “en” 7 hit “b” to back out 8 enjoy being able to read your R36S $35 is a great price I actually posted in the community about this yesterday. Gran Turismo is fun and I’m sure you can find the rom online somewhere. The Atomic Purple color I have loved since I was a kid. Good color choice 👍. I post a link to my WiFi dongle in the description. You can also use your phone in the meantime if you have an android, I have a video on my channel showing how. When using a new sd you have to format it to exFat. Thanks for the compliment on the beats a good friend of mine makes the for me. 🫡 thanks for the sub. Hope this helps my friend.

Silly question, but do you need to be online in order to play the installed port games? Or can you just select it like normal roms and play it offline? Great video bro!

That’s not a silly question at all my friend. You don’t have to be online to play the games once they are downloaded you can play them just as any other rom. Hope this helps bro. ✌️

i also have a r36s and followed your guide but it just wont run ports of any kind... ijust want the gmu player for music...

How instal games to portmaster?Instal half-life port and read,need original files. where to get the files and what version, and where to insert these files?

Half-Life Instructions: To play Half-Life you need to copy over the contents of the valve directory from your steam install of Half-Life into ports/Half-Life/valve, on first run it will override the required files to run. To play Half-Life: Blue Shift you need to have Half-Life installed, then copy over the contents of the bshift directory from your steam install of Half-Life: Blue Shift into ports/Half-Life/bshift, on first run it will override the required files to run, and create a Half-Life Blue Shift.sh in your ports directory. To play Half-Life: Opposing Forces you need to have Half-Life installed, then copy over the contents of the gearbox directory from your steam install of Half-Life: Opposing Forces into ports/Half-Life/gearbox, on first run it will override the required files to run, and create a Half-Life Opposing Fores.sh in your ports directory. Notes: Thanks to the Flying With Gauss team and contributors for the Xash3D Engine fork of Unkle Mike's original work that makes this possible. @@2LoudTech first it didn't let me delete the old port master and then I still drag the new post master but it never gives me the option to install.

Everybody's talking about this but what are the risk on doing this? 'Cause, for some reason it's hidden for the common user, and you need to pass through alot to install this, and I'm thinking about that is for some reason.

My 64gb 36S, only came with 1sd card under the white sticker on the right.. with everything on it..

you can always add a 2nd sd card and If thats not an option pop out the first one and see if it has the folders mentioned in the video. Thanks friend.

Unfortunately this guide is for R36s using ArkOS. I’m not familiar with the process for AmberElec. I can probably download it and try but it would not be today as I am celebrating my son’s birthday today. Sorry my friend but if I happen figure something out I’ll comment back here.

Whatever ports you have already downloaded will be in the Ports section on the main homescreen. If you have not yet downloaded any ports you would go into the OPTIONS section on the home screen, then select TOOLS. Then PORTMASTER. Let it load and you should have an option for featured, All Ports, Ready to Run Ports and Manage ports. Thanks for stopping by friend.

If you have an android phone you may be able to use usb tether with a c to c cable if your phone supports it with this device. That’s how I do updates on the r35 and r36s

hello bro. I have r36s same latest firmware as u but my game not detect but the rom exist. I have to used retroarch to play. Do you have any guide to fix? maybe my rom at the wrong place. please help coz i want to give to my nephew.

No my friend this guide is for the r36s which is a clone device you can generally find for around $35-$40.

So what console will this play uo to ? Ps1? N64?

I would say you could comfortably play up to ps1 and NDS. Most N64 and some Psp works. Hope this helps
