They should bring back the 9 train when they build an A division branch line to Throgs Neck. That, and introduce the 8 train on the Lexington Avenue line, also headed for Throgs Neck.

I'm not even gonna front it's kind of ironic how this man's went from simply making announcement videos to making videos mainly being demanded by the new generation of so called railfans but if he's happy with that then that's what makes him a true legend tbh 💪

Don't worry I still got announcement vids on the back burner, they just take a lot of effort to edit together and haven't had time to record the newest announcements 🙃. If all goes well, I got an announcement vid coming this week. I am happy though that I can post more diverse stuff now and get viewers for it though. Always wanted this channel to have content in combination with announcement vids.

Chris Capaccio the woman that does the voices for the N, Q, R, and W, whose name is Catherine Cowdery, also has a pleasant voice. The woman that provides the voice for the 1, 2, and 3 trains is named Dianne Thompson

Guys instead of them discontinuing the (9) they could've have the (9) Go local from South Ferry to 225 Street then go express straight to 242 Street In both directions during rush hours and during other times they could've had it go local from South Ferry to 242 Street with the (1)

I once saw a skip stop 5 train passing Grand Army Plaza. I didn’t know what a skip-stop train was at the time.

The J and Z actually has a benefit. It's not set up for speed or to reduce time, it's to reduced crowding as the loads are split during rush hour. The 1 / 9 had too few skip stops for it to work effectively.

Carmen Suero The original South Ferry loop station only had the capacity for 5 cars, so only people In the first 5 cars could exit.

Why does this announcement saying about First 5 Cars at 9:05

I thought they put it out of service and they took it off the track and put it in a train museum

"The 9 Train went defunct in 2004 as it was a redundant service." So if that's the case, why does the Z train still exist? Also, the 9 train was eliminated in 2005.

Just fixed it to 2005. The J and Z are there to split capacity. The 1 and 9 didnt have enough skip stop portion for this to be effective. Thays why the J Z is still around. The crowding gets split into two lines as opposed to multiple trains all being overcrowded.
