When Halil declined to have lunch with the mayor, and declined his sister's request if they could take a walk together after breakfast, it seems like Halil is preferring to stay at the farmhouse to give Zeynep orders, supervise her, and to be harsh towards her so that she reaches her breaking point. I hope at some point there will be another young, handsome man who will enter the scene who will befriend Zeynep. Someone with kindness and humanity. Halil has those qualities, but he is being more of a monster towards Zeynep and her family right now

I can't ever imagine someone loving a person who was horrible to you and your family and enjoys your suffering..s Someone who degraded you, humiliated you, and made you hopless, and helpless. I agree. Except Halilin is already in love with Zeynep. If you look at episode one again you can see it. He fell for her the minute she removed the scarf from her face on their first encounter. He only got hostile and showed his ass when he learned her name. The man is sprung and I cannot wait for the truth to be revealed and for Zeynep to make him pay for being an idiot.

Estaret and Kan çiçekleri were worst! And they end up together! I don't know how! You're absolutely right! Love is not enough. He took everything they owned, that's more than enough. His mistreatment to Zainab and her family, reflects on the type of person he is. Let's assume that it was her who pushed his mother, she was just an immature kid, and she grew older and changed. You can't charge a person on their childish act.

I've never watched those two series mentioned because I guessed that it would be the same. I think the writers are the same if I'm not mistaken. They need to move away from this abuse a bit. We're in the 21st century. What woman on this earth will put up with this. Bad precedent.

@margaretvialva-philips3992 I agree! Don't bother with Esaret! I watched 4-5 episodes, and I couldn't take it anymore 💔. I had to skip to episode 50-52 when things changed a bit. The other series kan çiçekleri was a little different. I watched summaries of it, so it saved me a lot of time. Some of the scenes were similar to Esaret, but I wasn't as shocked anymore. I heard of a real life story similar to the series, that's why I was into it. I don't want to ruin it for you in case you decide to watch it.
