Thank you so much @rtechweldingtv. Your equipment is first class, we have both your MIG and plasma cutter and can’t fault them in any way. Hoping to do some more videos soon using your kit 👍👍 Thank you for subscribing 😎

Can you tell me when is it necessary to chamfer the edges of the mitred joints?

Hi. Wondering if you can help. I watched your video. I just bought an R tech mig180. I'm waiting for gas and regulator but in the meantime pit some .8 flux cored wire in. I could not get the wire to drive through, no matter how much tension I applied. In the end I turned the collar round to the .6 side and it drives. My question is, do you know if these .6 / .8 collars wear out? I bought the machine second hand allegedly with low hours usage but the flux cored wire definately didn't like the .8 side and its .8 wire. Any ideas gratefully accepted. Thanks

Have you checked that you are using the correct side of the drive roller as it has different size groves for different wire sizes off the top of my head without going down the other workshop to check the 2 sizes are 0.6mm and 0.8 mm . Another simple mistake is that the tip is 0.6 and you are trying to get 0.8 wire through it, haven't had a roller wear out as yet and we use ours a lot. Hope this helps
