रेस्टुरेंट जैसे घर में बनाये दाल फ्राइ- DAL FRY WITH MIXED VEG IN RESTAURANT STYLE- DAL TADKA

Chana dal is also known as bengal gram. these lentils have a sweet and nutty taste. Chana dal comes from black chickpeas (kala chana). They are split and the outer cover is removed. These lentils are also powdered to give besan or gram flour. The flavors & taste of this Chana dal fry is North Indian and the preparation is like the way we make in Punjabi households. The chana dal is best served with steamed basmati rice or jeera rice and a side raita, kachumber (salad) or a vegetable dish. You could also serve it with rotis or naan along with cucumber raita and some papads. I am going to add some vegetables with the chana dal fry. That's why the recipe is called as Chana Dal Fry with mixed vegetables.
Ingredients:
Soak chana dal : 1 Bowl
Chopped Tomato : 1 Bowl
Chopped Carrot: 1 Bowl
Chopped Capsicum: 1 Bowl
Chopped Onion: 1 Bowl
Sliced Green Chillies: 2 nos
Ginger Garlic Paste: 2 Teaspoons.
plain Curd: 1 Teaspoon
Dry Red Chillies: 2 to 3 nos
Cumin seeds: half Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder: 1 Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Butter 1 Teaspoon
Ghee 1 Teaspoon.
Process:
1. Soak Chana Dal for atl least 2 Hours.
2. Cook the Chan dal for 10 minutes with the help of Pressure cooker.
3. Now Heat the pan and add ghee one teaspoon
4. Add half Teaspoon cumin seeds.
5. Add Chopped Onion and Sliced Green chillis. Fry them for One minute in high flame.
6. Now add chopped tomato, carrot, capsicum and plain curd. Saute the mixture for 10 minutes in low flame.
7.Then add boiled chana dal and mix it properly, now cover it with a lid for 10 minutes.
8. after 10 minutes switch off the gas , add 1teaspoon butter and cover with a lid for 5 minutes. Your dal fry is ready to serve.
