Lmao my last job lost me because they wouldn't do shit about workplace harassment + denying me my full workers' rights and accommodations (I have autism ) we were already severely understaffed (housekeepers in a care facility) and the pay was ABYSMAL for full time work. $600 a month is NOT enough for rent, let alone bills or food. (Luckily I live with family so it wasn't an issue) I was one of maybe two housekeepers out of our whole thing that actually CLEANED-cleaned (Given I was 19 my back and knees didn't hate me then) and the other one who did a great job with cleaning quit (don't remember what for) and the workplace harassment and denial of the other stuff got to me after around a year. My breaking point was when my boss *forbade* me from attending a work-related event that'd have taken place *during my lunch break.* Aka when I was clocked out, still IN the building and it was an event employees of all sorts (housekeepers, physical therapists, ect) were allowed to join in on. So I wrote out my two weeks notice and attended the event anyhow

The dog story: I would call the fire department on non-emergency line after first two hours, and explain the situation. I'm pretty sure they would find a good reason to put the fire out and leave the neighbor with a fine. I'm also pretty sure they did that on purpose because they didn't like OP and the dog. 5/5 buttholes for them...

With that aside, it's painstakingly clear they did it out of spite. They saw a kid and his dog out and thought, "imma smoke em out." Some people are just energetic to accountability

The levels of climate temperature continue rising because of hell’s flame in addition to the sun’s heat in the decisive grand Quran.. “Perhaps the questioners would like to say: “O Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni, you argued with us, so you increased the arguing to us, and you warn against the striking stones of fire from the planet Saqar, and before that the disaster of the universal and corona war of Allah according to your claim - O man! You made us have a headache from Allah’s universal and corona war disaster, also the overtaking sign of the sun and the warner moon to the humans which passed and ended for a while; as a warning to the humans - according to your claim - before the night precedes the day because of the passage of the planet Saqar, so we have memorized your warnings of various levels with photographic memorization”. Then the khalifa of Allah over the worlds; the Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni replies to you and I say: O Allah, yes, I cracked your heads with truth; It is true that I do not speak about Allah except the truth, but the verses and the warning of chastisement before the grand chastisement do not avail a people who do not believe in Allah the Great, for they are atheists denying Allah! So if He chastised you with Allah’s soldiers of the severe Covid war disaster (as consecutive signs), your doctors said: “Natural variable-strains of Corona.” So if He chastised you with disasters of Allah’s universal climatic war; the meteorologists said: “That is due to climate changes because of global warming due to the carbon dioxide so it would cause natural disasters.” In fact Allah has sealed the hearts of the criminals among you who turn away intentionally - they will not believe, and they disbelieve in Allah while they know that Allah is the Truth but they hate the truth. Didn’t Covid stop the wheel of life for the whole world in the year twenty twenty, so your entire factories and the carbon oil companies stopped a hundred percent in the year (2020 AD) and the year (Twenty-one), also in separate form in the year (Twenty-two)? And the question that comes up to every sane human being: Have you found the climate disasters in summer of 2020, or in the summer which followed; year 2021 AD that the climate disasters reduced in them? But you found the heat temperature to continue rising in the summer of 2020, summer of 2021, and summer of 2022, also summer of 2023! Are the people of the world cattle as cows that do not think, or are they humans? How can they continue to believe in the global warming theory, surely the entire climate scientists / meteorologists know that Covid 19 destroyed this theory because people of the whole world lock down in the year 2020 until the carbon dioxide is gone from the sky of the planet earth a hundred percent?! And with the acknowledgement of NASA the American Agency and the acknowledgement of the entire climate scientists at the time, they claimed that Covid / Corona solved the climate problem and said: “Maybe a harmful thing is beneficial.” So they firmly believed that the summer heat of (twenty-twenty) is moderate after winter and spring, so they are surprised that the summer temperature continues to rise more severely in the four Corona years (twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, and the current twenty-three) and they did not find that the climate temperature eased; in fact it continues to rise in every summer, due to the fact the carbon has relationship with the environment and has no relationship with the climate changes by science, logic and the true astrophysics in the Book, and the rain filters the air from dust and from carbon dioxide, don’t you understand?! Indeed, you are still suffering from the awful consequences of Corona, with sudden death. So no matter how you hide, the death of famous celebrities and the absence of many elites from screens will expose you. Anyway, the major chastisement has shaded you; summer of planet Saqar that is coming from the southern half of planet earth so it would sweep through the northern half of planet earth starting from the remote southeast of earth to the remote southwest of earth, and continuing to advance heading north, northeast of the planet and northwest of the planet until it rides a level above level in the dome of the middle sky at an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees. Then a great global and planetary celestial eclipse occurs. That is the chastisement of a destructive day. How often I warned and cautioned, and said: O Muslims, O Muslims, the planet of chastisement has arrived, the planet of chastisement has arrived. Throughout the years, I have been warning and cautioning the chastisement of the approaching Saqar planet of chastisement, but the Arabs and non-Arabs refused but to disbelieve. So listen and have in mind what we will inform you with the Truth: If you see that you can repel the planet Saqar, it is about to obscure the heavenly dome and obliterate from you seeing the entire luminous stars of the sky, including the sun, obscuring it from you, just as it will obliterate from you seeing the entire stars. In fact, it will pass through the celestial dome of the planet earth at the rock bottom (lowest) point, which is the nearest point in its orbit from planet earth, at an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees of Saqar; That is the closest point of passage for the planet Saqar. So often I swore to you for nineteen years ago that I do not sing to you in poetry nor exaggerate unjustly in prose that the planet Saqar will pass in the horizons of the sky of the earth of the humans, obscuring the four directions (south, east, west and north) so where is the escape, O you the atheists denying Allah, the One, the Subduer?! So how often I tried to save you by (calling you to) worship Allah, He Alone, no partner for Him, and to disbelieve in your intercessors between Allah’s hands with which Allah did not send down authority for it in the decisive grand Quran, so follow me and do not follow the human satans who hinder the ratification in the true explanatory-statement of the Quran, so pray to your Lord, Him Alone, no partner for Him, so it will be cool and peace upon you on the day of its passage, its flames will befall you if you are not of the praying-worshipers while you are still in the world’s life, so it would hurl sparks as castle at those who turn away, but that is an analogy; in a sense: It sends its sparks in a vertical line (each of you at an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees) to the fact that every inch of the earth is in the range of planet Saqar, and at an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees, its rain descends downward; That is the evil molten rain, then it get into striking stones when its rain enters the earth’s atmosphere; which means that the rain of molten stones solidifies when it enters the atmosphere and turns into balls of the oxide yellow brass, verily, evil is the rain (from clay of brass mixed with another metal) melts and then solidifies into striking pieces when it enters the earth’s atmosphere to be fashioned to withstand against the friction with the atmosphere, so that its rain would be red fireballs that hunt the disbelievers as a sniper with utmost precision, except who asked Allah by the fact of there is no God except He (Allah), and by the fact of His mercy which He ordained upon HimSelf, and by the fact of the greatness of the goodly-pleasure of HimSelf, forgive him/her and to remove from him/her His chastisement by His mercy in order to follow Allah’s caller and His khalifa over the whole world; the Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni. Ask Allah for steadfastness as you will fail the promise of Allah despite of your noses (unwillingly) If you did not know that Allah comes between a man and his heart, but after what, that you believe in Allah’s true caller? Is it after the heads of young youths turned gray?! The fact that those who postponed their belief in Allah, He Alone, so they do not call upon Allah, He Alone, no partner for Him, until they see the chastisement, they are a people who do not understand; in fact the cattle are more guided in path than them, so this is the reality of those who delay following the caller to the Truth from their Lord until they see the painful chastisement; Allah knows best what they are discrete in hiding of that it is the truth from their Lord to the fact that they did not use their minds before the painful chastisement befall them.” Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni 08 - Muharram - 1445 AH | July - 26 - 2023 AD mahdialumma com

agreed. I'm an American now living in the Philippines with severe eye issues (fighting blindness) and an amputee. I get just as good if not better care here than in the States with lower costs. One example: an eye injection I have to get every year or so to help preent malecular degeneration costs me about $3300 AFTER Medicare pays its share, while in the Philippines, the same injection (done the EXACT SAME WAY AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS) costs me $270 out of pocket TOTAL (NO insurance whatsoever). Same drug. And that's just one example. Never plan on returning to the States.

S2: I find the pettiness delightfully fun. But I feel so infuriated at the mother because she’s staying with a cruel, perverted good-for-nothing trash and the poor four year old girl is getting so much abuse from him. Coming from someone who is still getting over years and years of verbal, mental, and emotional abuse from a sadistic and very immature ex sperm donor, that girl will be the same if her mother doesn’t stand up and leave. And don’t give me “she’s scared of him”, or “she might not have anywhere to go”. Her child should always come first, and there’s shelters for her to stay.

It did take her till i was around 13-15 when she finally was able to divorce him, but the damage had already been done, plus the court(even with all the evidence of his horrible abuse towards us)hated kids so we were still forced to see him over the weekends until we were old enough to make our decisions. She is a great mother, just took her too long to see how bad our lives were with “him”. I just feel so angry, and also sad that mothers and fathers too that deal with that kind of abuse and kids are involved. Ive read stories that kids in those kinds of homes and their mothers/fathers continued to stay in a very toxic relationship so they had to resort to either run away, or fight through it till their able to move out. Some dont ever talk to their parents cause they believe they failed them, which is why i never talked to the trash who ruined my childhood. I do hope she does leave him and that poor girl wont be too damaged.

Story 8: queue jumping Almost eight years ago I was waiting in line at the corner store/gas station by my house. All of us who are regulars will line up down the candy aisle to wait for the next open register (there were three at the time), with the first person standing slightly out. This left plenty of room for folks entering to go to the coffee and sodas. On this, VERY, hot Sunday afternoon in July I was standing, first in line with my husband. I had a soda in my hand and my husband was holding his own drink and several snacks as we knew the next several hours were bound to be long. Well, the person checking out finishes and this guy, early twenties, just steps up and goes to the counter. Mind you, the queue is six people deep. I say, "Excuse me, there is a line." He turns around smirking, because what am I going to do about it, right? Except he instead sees a 42 week pregnant woman. (The long hours were because I was going to the hospital to be induced.) He just sort of withered as the clerk just looked at him with contempt (the clerk had been there most mornings I went in to grab breakfast on my way to work) and he was getting no sympathy from anyone else. He just slunk to the back of the line. It wasn't glorious or impressive. But it is a fun memory from a very long 96 hours. (96 from induction to release from hospital.)

Welcome to my world-my country has a lot of towns with weird pronunciations and mispronouncing them would get you outed as a crazy tourist at best and a target of piss taking at worst. Then there are the pomegranates that dumped their convicts there, they have it worse. What is the percentage of non-Brits who can correctly pronounce names like Gloucestershire?

I really feel that dog story. Years ago I had to put down my childhood dog, and the person doing the procedure was kind enough to do a house call. We wanted to have our dog enjoy the backyard as she fell asleep because she loved being out there. Unfortunately my Karen neighbor threw a fit. I was living in a duplex at the time, and the backyard was shared space. She startes going off about how she didn't want her two boys to 'witness death' at such a young age, saying they would be traumatized for life if my dog passed away in the backyard. Her youngest was 10, and her kids weren't even outside! She was also the landlord's sister-in-law, and she threatened to call the landlord and get us in trouble with him. So instead of my dog enjoying her last moments in her favorite spot we took her back inside the house and had it done inside...

When I was in graduate school, I drove charter motor coach. The charter industry has high times and low times. Greyhound has high times and low times. They cross perfectly. So, one Christmas area, since the company I drove for picked up overflow routes for Greyhound. Our coaches were a whole lot nicer than the Greyhound coaches. I was supposed to go from Columbus, Ohio to Saint Louis, Missouri (a nice strait shot across I-70). It was a, "local" trip (which means stopping at every small, podunk town along the route). When I arrived at the Columbus terminal, I was put on an, "express" to Dayton, Ohio (again, a nice strait shot across I-70). The, "local" was scheduled to take about five hours. The, "express," with no stops took about 2.5 hours. So we loaded up, I put on a movie (why not? I had TVs for that and had a VHS tape in my driver bag) and drove straight to Dayton. We were in Dayton THREE HOURS EARLY!!! One woman got off the bus, found the terminal manager and I witnessed as she, "Karened" her way through complaining, not about the driving, not about the movie, not about the temperature inside the coach, not about me, the driver, but get this--that we were three hours early!!! I'm quite sure she would have complained about being given a glass of ice water if she was standing in fire and brimstone in the midsts of hell. (Actually, she was probably looking for that extra three hours to take another hit of heroin.)

Not as dramatic as The Food Opie, but a bud worked odd hours at his old place because a) he was nocturnal and liked working later, and b) they needed coverage for some Very Big Clients after-hours. So he made his own hours to satisfy both needs. New Manager starts "laying down the law" and forces him to come in at 9 instead of noon or later. Kfine, he's now a 9-5er. Immediately stops babysitting processes going on in the evening. Immediately stops being available after-hours for the client *and* management. Keeps to strict 9-5 hours as he was told. New Manager tries armtwisting him to still do that work after-hours. Nope. Not gonna happen. Processes get stuck and only get fixed the next morning, so all the stuff that could've been processed now happens during the day with everyone else using the system too, bogging it down. VIP Client is furious not having support/coverage at odd hours, and he just tells them he was ordered to adjust his hours to 9-5, so that's what he had to do. New Manager still wouldn't budge, gets HR involved, has to take 9-5er's side that they can't force him to work after-hours when he's putting in his mandated hours. Tension, he finds another job, Bad Things happen at the old job, the usual. Okay, it *sounds* dramatic, but it wasn't, at least not the way he was telling it. Was just "You asked for it, so you got it".
