I was born and brought up in a strong catholic household.....and i myself was one ...a very religious and ritualistic child....but i agree to every word of this testimony. Always always and always we should always form our foundations of our faith on the Living Word of God, rather than what any other person....be it preachers, leaders or priest of any church , be it catholic or protestant......then only Lord will give us His wisdom through His Holy Spirit to distinguish from what is based on His truth and what is not.....and then any person can know. I am grateful that Lord removed my blind faith.....now my faith in Him is no more blind, it is well aware, wise, with knowledge and understanding and with clarity. Today is the time, when every Christian home has as many bibles as the number of members of the family, what is the use of it if we ourselves we don't have the curiosity to know the Living God through His Living Word, which now we have direct access to unlike older times where only Prophets had access to. Jesus Himself came down, and made himself accessible to each one of us personally with His Living Word, yet we would want to rely on the interpretations of our leaders....which may be wrong too....coz they themselves are humans.....that's why the curtain of the temple got torn when Jesus Died on the cross, to break all the barriers that was preventing each one of us to go to Him personally and to show....that not only priests and leaders....but now through Christ we can with confidence approach Lord in person too. If Mary was indeed divine she wouldn't have forgotten him on her way back home from the feast. The second instance was when she was reminded by Jesus that the time has not yet come. Also she would have made every effort to give him spiritual education. Instead he was being trained as a carpenter. Mary was just chosen to give birth to Jesus as she was indeed a pious woman. Infact it is wrongly assumed by Catholics that she's a mediator. Infact it's only the creator who has the authority to listen to the prayers of the children.

Praise the Lord! So so happy to hear this blessed testimony. I am also a born again believer in Christ Jesus. I am a goan and was a very strong catholic. But in 2008 I got saved in my bedridden state. By the grace of God I read the Holy Bible and the truth of Jesus finished work on the cross was revealed to me. Now I am healed physically, mentally and spiritually. Hallelujah. May our catholic brethen also come out from this deceptive church. This is my prayer too.

Carmeline Did you have a Bible and read it in the tradition of St Augustine, St Thomas Aquinas, St Jerome. Typologically, Anagogically, Morally, Allegorically, or just Literally. Did you have the catechism of catholic church.or care to read it. Did you read a little but about Church History?. Did you ever hear or read any one of the Early Church Father's like St Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp, Clement of Rome, Polycarp I guarantee you are hearing all these for the 1st time. Catholicism is POST Messianic Judaism and Judaism is PRE messianic Catholicism. Please get your head around this. Did Jesus leaves us a Bible or a Church? How did you get saved biblically speaking? Is onced saved always saved Biblical? Can salvation be lost? Is salvation static or dynamic? I'm a practicing Catholic for 13 years now and I've barely scratched the surface of Catholicism. Carmeline- just a follow up thought. In 2008 you got saved.. Please don't take Salvation for granted. No doubt Salvation is a free gift. No one is safe until safely in Purgatory/Heaven. One can loose Salvation, one only needs 1 Mortal Sin to go to Hell. Our Lord say - he who perseveres to the END will be saved - Matthew 24:13. Salvation is a life long process of discipleship ( pick up your cross and follow me Daily) not a "one time" event and is NOT Static but Dynamic in nature. We have been saved Eph 2:8-9 We are being saved - Phil 2:12 We hope to be saved Mt 10:22 Just as the Bible says. Pax Christi Also Catholics are Born Again the Bible way. Through Baptism(water) and Confirmation(Spirit- by laying on of hands by a duly Appointed Catholic Bishop - a modern day Apostle. Jesus himself gave the formula on how to be BORN Again in in John 3:5 - Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of WATER and the SPIRIT. My dear brothers and sisters , I want to say only one thing to everyone that in the end Jesus Christ gave us a wonderful and important one commandment and that was , that as I have loved you all.You people also love each other in the same way, forgive each other.. Here it clearly shows that God did not favor anyone nor did he see any discrimination. But he has only seen that I have to love all, no matter who he is.Yes, it has definitely given a stern warning that we should repent for our sin's . Because without repentance our sin will not forgiven .That's what John the Baptist did before Jesus came and baptized us all and told us to repent for our sins and choose the right path.So Jesus taught us that if you forgive others, you will be forgiven..What is wrong if the priest's of our church make someone repent and forgive their sins?So what crime are priest committing in this??The priest's of our church are not like the people who read the Bible for a week a little bit by learning about the Bible and becoming a pastor ?I would say this to my brothers and sisters that once definitely search how the priest are made and what sacrifice they do. How else do they get that place of priesthood in their life? Please just search about it.The Lord Jesus has given the power to drive away evil spirits and given the gift to believers through the Holy Spirit.In the same way, the authority to forgive sins has also been given to those who believe in Jesus. Sandhya Jesus Christ didnt leave us Bible or the 12 Apostles for that matter but rather He founded the Catholic Church in Matthew 16:18 (History proves it) and he set you free from HIS church as well. I had no problem at all with Catholic education, but some people from other churches came to me and started questioning me and saying that Catholicism was wrong, but I learned from some Catholic Fathers and read the Bible instead of just listening to them, that cleared up my mistake and every Catholic. I know the answer of the opposition, now I am proud to be a Catholic, praise the Lord✝️❤️🙏

Sister, please read Psalms 69:8. There was a prophecy 950 years before Jesus birth that any women Mary or Gracy giving birth of Jesus will give birth to other brothers. Another thing, Mary needed prayer. She was also gathered for prayer (after Jesus taken up to heaven) with Jesus's other brothers; James & Jude (Acts 1:14). Jesus Christ had warned His followers to be careful of wolves in sheep clothing. These wolves have already penetrated the Catholic Church and have been causing harm to the Church. FYI the Catholics do not worship idols. These idols only act as reminders. Mother Mary is not worshipped but for the faithful, acts as an intercessor between God and His children. Praying in tongues is appreciated and welcomed by the Catholic Church. Many Charismatic gathering one finds people praying in tongues. Luke 9 : 50 " Do not stop him" Jesus said "for whoever is not against you is for you" The Catholic Church built on the foundation stone of St Peter has prevailed 2000 years but the splinter groups have come and gone. It's our responsibility to correct the Church from within by being in communion with it. Jesus Christ should be the center of Our lives Heaven our destination.

Without receiving Holy Spirit, one can't achieve this promise. For we must live spiritually. Please read: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Galatians 5:19-21 Ephesians 5:3-5 Revelation 21:8 & 22:15. Hi Brother Antonio, Catholics are doing great jobs for community development such Hospitals, Schools and other charity activities. But not following Scriptures. Why God Almighty written 10 Commandments in STONE TABLETS? God has other options. Animal skin or wooden parts was there. Nobody never change and default the important of 10 Commandments. So wrote with His own hands. Why not He asked Moses to write down gave to Israelites? But Catholics CUT DOWN the 2nd Commandments and allow their followers for idolatry. And 10th Commandments cur into TWO and completed 10. Read Exodus 20:1-18 & Deuteronomy 5:3-17. Deut. 4:15-18 carefully. Dear Br. Catholics burned Holy Scriptures in hundred thousands. Anne I'm a practicing Catholic allow me to ask you The scripture that you are quoting from so beautifully 1. Did Jesus leave us a Bible or for that matter the 12 Apostles or did he leave us a CHURCH? 2. How do you know which Books ought to belong in the Bible? The table of contents of the Bible is NOT Inspired. Ie the Bible doesn't give is a list of Books that are inspired. Who put the Bible together and by what Authority? The Bible is a library NOT a single Book that you have taken as a given or for granted. The Bible was put together at the Council of Rome in 398 AD by Pope Damasus. Imagine no Bible for the first 400years of Christianity. What would you do if you went back in time to say between 33AD to 398 AD. How would you be a Christian if you had no Bible to rely on? @@rajvijay8035 it breaks my heart when I see (scripturally) "weak" catholic become Protestants and "learned" Protestants become Catholic - see the Journey Home program with Marcus Grodi. Week after week Protestants(clergy/pastors) of umpteen denomination become Catholic. They knew Scriptures inside out then the greatest mistakes they made is go back into History and study the Early Church Father's- then it's game over then the have no choice but to become Catholic. Oh if excatholic only knew what treasures they have forsaken. My heart bleeds. God bless you Brother for your witness to the fullness of the Truth in not just any faith but the Catholic faith. Me too a Roman catholic. I worship only Jesus. We respect Mother Mary as our mother. But we pray with Jesus. We are not doing idol worship. We just close our eyes and pray with Jesus.

I want to ask a question if possible then give me the correct answer. Yes we catholic respect our mother Mary but we don't worship her.. According to me worship and praise is the same thing. If we worshiping or praising mother Mary then why we are ignoring in front of other denominations that we only respect mother Mary but don't worship? This is the biggest scandal we are doing against Catholicism. I have a question my brothers and sisters! people of Israel had placed their full faith in Moses and David and they worshiped and praised them . Did the Lord deceive them all?did God of Israel punished them? No, answer is no. Whether it is Mother Mary, David or Moses. They worked for Jesus and they made us all believe in faith. If we pray rosary, yes it is worshiping the mother Mary along with Jesus Christ, so what is wrong with that?? Mother Mary is our heavenly mother and our Jesus mother, so there is nothing wrong in that if we praise mother Mary and along with Jesus because angel Gabriel says Hail Mary full of grace lord is with you, so what does it mean? When an Angel is worshiping Mother Mary, why can't we?

My dear Godwin did you ever discuss your problem with your parish priest ? I think you have not been able to differentiate between adoration and veneration. God is adored whereas Mary is venerated. Secondly you have not exactly understood the sacrament of confession just telling your sins to priest and getting absolution is not enough but your repentance and restitution is much more important. Next you have approached a wrong person who doesn't know abcd of theology. He reads the Bible literally without applying any scientific tool. Therefore I humbly advice you please be careful of such people.
