R.M.Williams Blaxland. Resole
Standard job on R.M.W. Blaxlands. New soles and heel blocks. The gemming almost always comes loose over the years and needs repairing and reinforcing during the resole process.
I have also repaired the broken fibre heel stiffeners and inserted new heel linings. I keep the gussets open to easily work on the insole during the resole, and stitch it back together when everything else is done.

Super impressive. I never before realised how much ‘technology’ surrounds my feet when I’ve been walking in my pair of RM Williams boots - now well over 40 years old - and which could probably be benefit from a restoration.

nice job. I like what you did to reinforce the gemming. Also like your glue gun, less messy than those overflowing glue pots the other cobblers use.
