Yeah, this is really sad. I can’t even be mad or make fun of him at this point. He was abused by his older sister from age 7-15 years old. It clearly destroyed him mentally, and created a anger/need for power and control over women. He became famous and rich, and it got way out of control. He’s a terrible person, he deserves to be in jail forever, but I still feel sorry for him. What a waste of incredible talent.

Yeah, it’s very sad because he was abused as a child by his sister, a man in his neighborhood, and a couple who made him film them. And the things he’s accused of have a lot of parallels with the things he went through as a child.

The parents are not in the clear here. There are NO allegations of kidnapp about R.Kelly not one ever. That's not a coincidence. So that means the parents of these underage girls are at fault also in my eyes. They know what they were doing. Not like he took your daughters. The parents had to approve of their daughter being with R. Kelly initially. That's R.Kelly an individual that already had a pass with these types of allegations and you (the parents) gonna let your child be alone with him. 🤯🔫

@@BeeetchImStacia Unfortunately in this age the of 24 hour news cycle, they will be hard pressed to find jurors who haven't heard of this case, previous cases against him, allegations, documentaries, or this interview. Just so you know, a potential juror may not be stricken simply because they've seen this interview or heard of this case. They will be asked if they can set aside what they've seen and heard and make a decision based solely on the facts presented in evidence. I understand how the voir dire process works. You clearly don't. Both sides have a limited number of peremptory challenges (eliminating jurors based on a hunch about their percieved bias) therefore the goal is not to remove EVERY person whose heard of this case, but to ensure impartiality in the minds of the jurors. So...It's not as simple as some here have suggested. He's clearly a narcissist who believes he can convince people of his innocence, hince this disaster of an interview. So yes, this interview was a terrible idea. Prosecutors can use this footage as evidence, even if he never takes the stand. This is testimony, any good lawyer would have advised against this. However, it's still his choice to speak out. What does he have to lose at this point? He wants sympathy.

I have been abused i didnt seek help..I'm overly protective of my children tho..they don't spend the night anywhere.. I told them what happened to me and they understand don't ask to stay at anyone house because I'm gonna say no

R Kelly should not be conducting any interviews, or, speaking to the press, or reporters, period. They don't need to hear your side of the story, keep your mouth, shut.

And when you experience abuse growing up, you learn from and you make your own choice to either follow that behavior or to never allow yourself to!! Facts

Sad when the abused become abusers themselves. It does not justify it in my opinion. Being abused can show you who you truly are, either you rise above it and discover you're genuinely a good person. Or you lose the good part of yourself, your humanity and become an abuser yourself.

R Kelly has a lot of supported. But you do have to admit, that he do have a problem. Its nothing wrong with liking younger woman, as long as they are 21 and over, but, when the are under 18, its a problem.

So very sad...all of it...I hope the parents get those girls back...hope he gets the help he needs but it's very hard to rehab a chronic abuser, especially when they don't admit to themselves .. So many prayers for all
