Ingredients List-
1 Cup Moong Dal
2 Green Chilli
1 inch Ginger
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Pinch Asafoetida (Heeng)
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds( Crushed)
1/4 tsp Coarse Fennel Powder
2 Spoon Wheat flour
1 tbsp Mustard Oil
2 tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves
For Making Kanji
1 lit Water
1 or 1+1/2 tbsp Raai Powder
1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp Asafoetida for Smoky Flavour

Sir actually I am from Rajasthan and Every Holi and Diwali We make Kanji Vada , and this is my grandmother's recipe , I have been making this Vada since 15-16 years.

Kanji vada was very interesting preparation for me I learnt it I like the traditional way using wet clothes for shaping the vada 👌, raai powder ( is it mustard seeds 🤔 roasted and then Powder) sis

Raat bhar rakh sakte ho , per jaise jaise garmi badhegi tab nahi rakh sakte , aap pahle kanji banaker ferment ker lijiye uske baad vade bana ker isme daliye

Raai ka powder , barik wali Raai se khatta ho jata h , khatta hone me karib ek din jata h , baki Sardi garmi ke temperature per depend kerta h
madam… मैने कांजी को दो दिन बना के रखा लेकिन उसमें कोई टेस्ट नहीं आ रहा ..ना तो पानी खट्टा हुआ और उसका टेस्ट बहुत ही फ़्लैट है …pls suggest उसको ठीक कैसे करु ?

Sir kanji me nimbu ka ras dal de aur namak km h to aur add ker dijiye,.. apne barik wali raai use ki thi ya moti wali sarson? kyonki moti wali sarson se khattapan nahi aayega

भाईसाहब या बहन जी हम राजस्थान से हैं और ये रेसिपी किसी का भी नया आविष्कार नहीं है ये बहुत पुरानी पारंपरिक रेसिपी है जो हमारी दादी नानी से भी पुराने जमाने से बनाई जा रही है जो हमारे घर में हर होली दीवाली पर बनाई जाती है इसलिए गलत तरीके से लिखने से पहले सोच समझ लिया कीजिए, धन्यवाद ।
