I'm pretty sure Betty Boop was the biggest influence on anime art, actually. The artist didn’t intend to make any statements on anything, but the subconscious choice of a Burger King burger shows background US cultural influence. That’s all the burger post means. Day 2098 of using the internet. I have learned that PETA was the one responsible for the trend of anthropomorphic cow p**nography. I can only assume someone saw that post and declared to themselves “ah shit I’m into it” despite it probably not being sexy in the least bit

7:00 Let’s see here… the top left is a metaphor about how everyone is fake (because like make up and surgeries and shit). The top right is about how two companions, which may or may not have to both specifically be women, are snakes fighting for dominance despite their friendly appearance. The bottom left is some bullshit about how the poor are relying on the rich, which is literally how being poor works. The bottom middle is saying that verbal abuse is just as terrible as physical abuse. The bottom right I do not understand. Out of the 5 of these images, I only agree with the top left and bottom middle. The bottom middle for obvious reasons, verbal abuse is just as bad (sometimes worse) than any physical abuse. The top left I only agree with a little bit, most people today wear some sort of makeup, some people have plastic surgery, boob implants exist, etc. yet people have been wearing makeup and modifying our bodies for eons. Most animals have exaggerated “makeup” (especially birds) to attract mates.

I think the bottom right is like "the man with the microphone is like pinocchio". Probably to do with politics or something. Overall, to critique it on it's messages, it's not like plastic surgery and makeup are bad (in fact, I'd like it to feel good about myself, not for others), not all people are snakes (I assume it's also saying all women ate snakes because that's how Facebook is), we kinda need money to live (which imo sucks because some people can't work), verbal abuse is bad (which is just a no duh) and not all politicians lie (though a TON do)
