Keep in mind that no bike manufacturer makes a lot of the components to the bikes. The LCD can fail, the tires can fail, the rear hub motor can fail, etc. I've looked across the various brands, and they're all pulling from the same parts bins so it could happen to anyone. It's kind of like auto airbag recalls. Honeywell, a company up the road from me, makes the airbags, and everyone buys from them. I would buy from them again.

I found the S866 aftermarket display to be something I liked better than stock. Buttons are integrated and the display is smaller. Ride safe.

Not gonna lie, that's a sexy looking ebike. I almost bought this same one, but I live in an apartment, so I needed a folding ebike. I really hope I don't have these issues when my own ebike comes in. It's a lesser known brand than even Ridstar. Kinda nervous now.

@@Ridstar_Q20 somehow my rear derailleur hyperextended outwards and also I was having issues with my throttle sometime it would kick in and sometimes it wouldn't. They opted to comp me because I place a negative review on Amazon. They claimed I had a year warranty however they wanted me to pay for the cost of repairs first and then they were going to reimburse me which I thought was very questionable so after much back and forth they eventually resolved to compensate me outright.

I have a rRidstar bike and it is a beast I u 5:51 sed to have a grizzly and the grizzly is a pile of trash. I upgraded my trash grizzly to the Ridstar and the bike is unbelievable 450 miles through the desert over cactuses and crevices without an issue. The Rudstar is the real deal at a great price the grizzly is a farce

I also had a problem with the display of my E fatbike the troy diablo in mat black the base model 36volts 250watt motor in a week or 2 ??? if I'm correct about the time passed ? my display gave astronomical numbers on the odometer The battery drain was extremely fast which I found weird called the store where I bought it from and they sent me a new one had to sent the old one back the thing was there was a problem in a number of displays in a certain batch where a default was found in and I was one of the unlucky ones that had that problem with in 2 days it was fixed and in the mean time I changed the brake calipers bigger battery instead of a 13AH I now have a 22,5 AH I did put a mirror on the left and better tire's because the Kenda slicks where not that great over here in the Netherlands during rain starting fall and winter did drive it in the snow with the old slicks never again the new tires are way better as soon the weather is better and I'm awake during daylight hours I make a new video where I explain it so far I got with my E fatbike it is truly not funny if the E fatbike dies on you had that once with the 13ah battery lucky that I had no hills on my way back home and I was with an extra passenger at the back 🙈 after all I have done with my bike it drives nicely good luck with yours 👍🏻

I popped my battery off and unplugged the wire to it , put battery on track with power on the reconnected ... powered up

I love my Ridstar q20, no problems so far.

I have no access to the H20 Pro, but can tell you,, it's a monster on hill climbs with lots of power. Number one complaint is that the display does not show a power display for each battery.

Same exact thing happened to me all the way down to sending them a video of nothing happening when hitting the power button. LCD came and everything was good after that.

If the LCD is not powering up, then you have the bad LCD problem. You will need to contact Ridstar for a replacement.

The battery should not be left on the charger once full. I have my bike outside and on a timer to charge from 2-6 a.m. This way, it's off the peak energy hours. It doesn't sit fully charged and on the charger, and when I commute at 6:30, the battery has had time to cool from charging.

I would not hesitate to recommend the bike. LCD's are a third-party sourced item for high-end bikes to low-end, and they are not in control of them. Additionally, this can happen to any company. The real question is, what do they do about it. Ridstar has been making it right.

I bought one two months ago and haven’t had any problems and I like it better than the other e-bikes I had or have it is very comfortable and honestly people say it’s the best thing for your buck and it really is but overall I think it’s even a great E bike

Don't sweat it. If you get one of the bad displays, Ridstar will replace it. However, if you decide to purchase an aftermarket display (which I like better) there is a video on this channel doing the install of an aftermarket display and a link to purchase.
