I am a 64 year old male, It is so hard to see and hear this beautiful lullaby, sung by a wonderful woman to a gorgeous child, without absolutely losing it. Rest in peace Mary Travers.

Perhaps her leukemia was incurable.

Such a beautiful song ,sung by a beautiful voice.You left this world way to soon.You bought so much joy and happiness with your music.R.I.P. Mary.

I sung briefly with P,P, and M many years ago as a child at a long-forgotten concert in California, when they called all the kids in the audience up to sing "This Land is Your Land". Mary put her arm around my shoulders while we sung, and I remember looking briefly behind myself to Peter and Paul as they were playing away, and thinking "wow! This is AMAZING!" I'll never forget that. RIP Mary, God Bless You.

Her illness did not diminish her beautiful voice. I loved her so much!

Mary was one of a kind. Perfect pitch,perfect presence.....just perfect. The voice of an angel.

Mary could make any song all her own. Just wonderful.

What a lucky little girl to have this voice in her life for as long as she had it. A voice that can never be replicated.

I have seen Peter, Paul and Mary three times in my life, and I am only 25, I grew up to Mary's voice and shall miss it dearly.

I recorded this TV special long ago and this version was the best ever. God bless you Mary.

I remember with much happiness, attending a PPM performance in Montreal some years ago. When they got to their individual performances, Mary regaled the audience with a tale of bringing her grand-daughter on stage so that they could sing a song together, and that the best part of that was that once finished, she could give a super-excited and ramped-up little girl back to her parents :). This video will always remind me of that day

Mary you were beautiful right to the end. This Denver song could not have been sung more stunningly.

These words are memorized by me and all of my three children, who now teach it to the grandchildren. Travers was a magnificent inspiration to the world. She sowed seeds of peace in a language that we all can understand -- MUSIC Songs that never die are inspired by the Great One. There can be world peace! Please let me see it in my lifetime.

I saw her with P&P at the Minnesota State Fair years ago. I felt genuinely sad when Mary passed away. She was a great talent and a real inspiration.

This world was blessed with her existance. It is not often when we are privledged to see a person, or persons who have a postive effect on generations. P,P &M message of peace and love seems to be lost on the now generation. My generation grew up is such a violent time in the history of the world. I remember hearing PP&M perform in Montreal. When each sang their solo part of the concert, Mary began by telling a story about singing a song on stage with her granddaughter, how much fun that was for the both of them, and that her favorite part of all was handing her lovely and now over-excited grandchild back to her mother :) She then sang this very song

It is SO good to feel someone loves you! My family, especially my mother, NEVER made feel I was loved. Today, fortunately, I feel someone loves me truly by means of a long lasting friendship. It is never too late... And I will accept love however it comes into my life. That's a wonderful declaration of love! God bless that family!...
