कंगना रनौत को कथित तौर पर चंडीगढ़ एयरपोर्ट पर थप्पड़ मारे जाने के मामले में किसान नेता सरवन सिंह पंधेर और जगजीत सिंह डल्लेवाल ने पंजाब के DGP से मुलाकात की. उन्होंने CISF कॉन्स्टेबल द्वारा कंगना रनौत को थप्पड़ मारे जाने के मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग की.
डल्लेवाल का कहना है कि हमारा मानना है कि चंडीगढ़ एयरपोर्ट पर कुछ भी नहीं हुआ. वह सिर्फ सुरक्षा जांच का मामला था और इसे हिंदू-सिख का मामला नहीं बनाना चाहिए था. वहीं उनका कहना है कि उनको लड़की और उसके परिवार से मिलने दिया जाए. DGP से बात के बाद उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया है कि स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष जांच की जाएगी.
