菊花在古代象徵著悲傷與愁苦,在九九重陽節這天, 皇宮裡本該在地上灑滿菊花， 登台望遠。然而最後卻，滿地灑盡殘菊之感觴，花自飄零水自流，生死兩茫茫。
這首歌渲染了一種惆悵委婉的氣氛。把菊花比喻是飽經滄桑的悲劇，既壯烈又慘烈；把人物與景物拉在一起作對比，意和境相互交融，令悲傷的情緒滲化開去，表達了淒美的意境

This song creates a melancholic and euphemistic atmosphere. 日本的拉弦樂器我不太清楚，韓國的樂器滿接近中國的，另外蒙古的馬頭琴我覺得介於二胡與西方提琴之間。
琴音好聽，但是頭髮太亂，看起來不修邊幅。
