R&G Radiator Guard for Indian Scout Bobber
Ғылым және технология
My Indian Scout Bobber just has some plastic fins on the front of the radiator, so its open to the elements. Even on the ride home a little stone jumped up and dented the radiator a little. I think you could DIY alot cheaper, but for what I thought would be a better product, I bought the R&G Radiator Guard.

Glad you enjoyed it
Just got the same thing and seeing how you're holding it up at 6:22 I'm thinking I may lay mine down on a big piece of cardboard and spray it black before installing it. Maybe that makes it "shine through" a bit less. Thanks for the video and ride safe!

I actually like the contrast colour change myself. Should be fine to spray though.

Still lost as to what the foam strips are supposed to be for
Nice Vid, thanks!! A Favour, could you give me the size of the mesh that you used? No the entire piece, but the rhombus? Im seeing mesh that is 3x6mm or 4x8mm. Second doubt. Did you saw after that, some kind of over heat problem? Thanks!

No heat issues at all. I am not sure on the specific size info and cant see it on the website. Here is the link to what I bought - www.rg-racing.com/browsetype/General_Accessories/Suzuki/Bandit_600/RADUM01/
Might look a bit better with the ‘head’ of the cable tie on the inner side of the mesh (if there is room between the mesh and the radiator) 🤔

Not enough room really, but once on you cant really notice them, so not the end of the world.

@@SpectrumGeeks confirming this. Installed mine today and it's snug against the radiator. But also true that you can't really see them unless your laying down right there and start looking for them. Any "normal" angle and they're completely invisible.
I did this upgrade on my 2015 Scout, but I thought that the newer models had something similar to this that came stock?

Maybe the Scout does, but my 2020 Scout Bobber did not.
Excellent video. I think I'm gonna just buy a honey comb stainless steel sheet and do it myself. Would you be able to tell me the measurements in inches of the radiator? I just ordered my Scout Bobber and won't have it till November.
