This is why I subbed. I've had these guys for a minute but the comprehensive review reminded me WHY I got them and made me even more happy about why I subbed and bought them.

Thank you for this rich video. You put a lot of effort and love when making your videos. Before I buy this mic, I want to make sure it can handle my voice raising suddenly. I'm currently using the "green lion microphone," and when I raise my voice, the sound gets so muddy, and when I'm not talking and I suddenly talk, it also gets muddy. How can I fix these issues with the rode mic and mic sure that my voice will still be heard crystal clear even if I raise my voice suddenly. Thank you for your time,

Thank you for the comment! I do enjoy making these videos even if they take me forever. How well your mic will handle you raising your voice depends on how much you’re raising it by. In the first instance set your microphone levels lower if you’re expecting to scream at the mic sometime ;) With the Go II the safety channel can really help with this issue - but you’ll have to do some work in post to use the safety channel recording in instances where your voice was too loud. Alternatively check out the Wireless Pro (im making a review on them soon). They have 32bit float which greatly increases the dynamic range and reduces risk of clipping to almost 0

Is there any reason why people are still buying recorders without 32 bit float??? I really don't understand it.

I would say it's usually a question of affordability. The new Wireless PRO (as well as a fair few other microphone systems) have 32bit float but they're a decent chunk more expensive as well

I didn't know Zoom made a wireless lapel microphone? I used a Zoom H5 with shotgun capsule for many years and that was pretty awesome too

@@SurfacedStudio You are right. The F2 isn't wireless. But tbh... If you don't have the money for the RODE Pro version I'd rather spent my money on the F2. These little recorders made my interview productions so comfortable. I would never go back from 32 bit float.

That's not a professional wireless microphone. It is prosumer at best.

Decent quality for the price and serves the purpose. And yes, you can certainly pay more to match your requirements.

@@SurfacedStudioNo that's not it. These simply do not have any specs that would make them professional. There is a minimum threshold, that these simply do not meet. I am sure they work and they fulfill a function, but if you don't know the difference you shouldn't be calling them that especially in a sponsored video...
